I think the Yankees should have a spending limit its not fair to the other teams if the braves had that kind of money they would win too

The Yankees are playing within the rules. The Redsox, Mets and Dodgers spend almost as much, but because the Yankees have 27 titles, they have an unfair advantage? They have outspent teams for 50 years. They don't win the championship every year!

Anyone remember that the Red Sox spent $250 million just to talk to Dieske(sp) Matsuzaka? Yankees roster salary doesn't sound that crazy when you mention that.

Thats pretty bad when you have to buy your way into a World Series Championship! The Tampa Bay Rays had the lowest payroll in baseball last year and made it to the World Series!
