Thought's and predictions?
Should be a good game, im going to have to make a prediction later in the week, can't decide right now

Another year...another playoff matchup between Belfry and SC. It has been "SC's year" for a decade now...will it finally happen Friday?

I heard Vince McMahon has purchased the rights to sell this game on Pay-Per-View.

I'm already pumped. I already got my attire picked out for the game.

I'm gonna take Belfry close.

Belfry by 7

i have a gut feeling telling me too lean toward the cards but i just dont think they can handle belfry at the cam. so i am going to take belfry 35-20 but i think it will be a really close game in the first half.
#6
This one will be a toss-up IMO. Whoever wants it the most wins.

Best of luck to both!
#7
Belfry... the score...?-?
#8
Cards by 7

Wish I could see this game. I would love to be there but I've got to travel to Mason Co.
This will be a great game. Good luck to both teams.
#10
This is one of those games where mistakes & penalties will make a difference.

I'll still take the Cards by 2..
#11
oh no not again Smile anyone know if thomas and caroll will be back. i'd hate to see the better team not win without all their key players. seems like that has been said about these teams before. oh yeah just bout 3 weeks ago tonite.

Im Going to take belfry unfortunately.

The only way SC wins this game is if they keep there head on their shoulders and play ball. Instead of worrying about fighting, ego.

That is all in the past now I don't think we will see anything like that in this game SC played good tonight and I hope to see it carry over to this game. Hard to pick a winner for this game but as you now my heart is going with the Cards in this game that should be one **** of a game if SC can limit the turnovers.
#14
well its time for the excuses to end,i think it will be a good game that sc could win,but i think belfry wins, the winner of this game should be the represent the east.
#15
Leaning towards the Pirates but depending on health issues it could easily turn to Sheldon Clark.

Belfry gets everyone back at practice Monday. The big question for SC is not if they can physically match up with the Pirates, but can they be mentally cool enough and not get so emotionally involved that they do not execute. Can Coach Hager stick to a gameplan if his team gets behind? If SC can respond positively to negative situations, they have a chance. If not, then Belfry will roll into the regional championship game.

This....

SC has to forget they are playing "Belfry" and prepare for this game just like it was any other team along the way to a State Title. The seperation of playing against a specific team, and playing for a bigger picture is the single biggest difference between Belfry's success and SC's over the past decade. Belfry will play with the same focus, same intensity, and same mental approach whether they were playing SC, Breathitt, Russell, or anyone else.... SC has got to approach with the same mindset.

If you are a SC fan and at any point during the pre-game you say "Wow! Our boys look fired up!" then IMO you can almost write down a Belfry victory. SC needs to be focused and approach this like it is business.

No more of "this is our year", no more trash talk, no more tirades at mid-field by Hager, no more staying in the lockerroom until the last possible second, no more taunting Belfry's fans, no more going for it on 4th and 2 at your own 30 yard line in the 1st Half, no more flying on top of the pile and screaming before the game starts...just another game.

I agree with this we need to com into this game loose and not so tight and just play it like it is any other game, we also need to learn to control our emotions and not let it get to the best of us. We need to come out and play the game like we did in the second half last night, we was down one point and we stayed clam and just played our game and well you can see the final result of it.

Precisely..... that is the difference between good and great teams.

I haven't spoke to Tom, but I spoke to Nate last night and I know he's going to be fired up. Despite the fact he was one of my first friends, I love the way Nathan plays. He's so energized and passionate.

Was anyone close enough for the Johnson Central game when they fumbled and all was quiet and Nate busted out of the pile and yelled "Yeah Baby!" That was great.

I can't wait to see the outcome of this REMATCH!! SC is gonna be looking for revenge from the regular season! Will SC be able to win this one? They're gonna be pumped with an opportunity to get revenge on Belfry from earlier in the season! But, is Belfry just to good for SC to come out with a win? Should be a great game!!
Right now i would have to go with Belfry in a close game!

Gotta go with Belfry at home. BHS-28 SC-7

This game is gonna be of Epic Proportions if both teams stay healthy throughout the week. Sheldon Clark wants this game bad, but I think the Pirates want it more (as they want every playoff game). Because their sights are set on Bowling Green. You can bet that Haywood will have his team prepared, As will Hager, and even if Thomas and Nate arent
%100, the boost it'll give the Pirates will push them to a victory.

Belfry. Varney is fine and so is Carroll it will be a good game
it is at Belfry so they have the edge they will be ready to play.
