I have been looking forward to Friday night all week. But now I am just a little worried we have a few players over at the house last night and all they was talking about was coloring their hair and about the one's that wasn't going to. Well I am not a preacher but you might have thought I was if you came in the house during my speech I was letting them know that they better not be worring about thier hair and they better get back to thinking football. I still think this might be the best team we have seen this year. But I have to admit these guy's have the convidence and thats good but let the ones who want to color thier hair do it let the ones who want to shave their head to hit but don't start fighting over it if you have some that don't want to. doesnt translate into big wins for mcceary hes good enough to do it by his self against weaker teams but against strong teams he doesnt have the blocking and lanes he needs to run or pass .i pick l.c. by about 40 .they are in fourth place for a reason .i would love to see them win but i doubt they will

That is true but one of the 3-A schools we beat is a #2 seed the other is a #3 seed and the 3 4-A teams we lost to which are in our district are good enough to beat 85% or better of the 4-A teams in KY.(just saying).

But since you brought it up: the only teams other than district teams that Lawrence Co teams has beaten have losing records or are smaller schools. The only 4-A teams they have beaten are the 3 teams in their district and 2 of them have losing records and all 3 combined have only won 11 games and have lossed 19 games. If you compare schedules there is not a big difference in the two!

The only difference between your post and mine is this: I think Lawrence Co is a heck of a team that is well coached and will be ready to play come Friday. I have great respect for their accomplishments and don't think for one second that giving them the respect they deserve takes away from my team. Great Job LC on an un-defeated season your hard work has paid off and your respect is well deserved. Sorry I can't wish you luck for Friday but it will be our teams honor to take the gridiron with you to play the best sport in the world, High School Football. See you Friday!irateShoirateShoirateSho

So I decided to simulate this game on NCAA Football 10, I have seen ESPN try this before so I thought It would be cool to start something like this for high school. I am going to try to do this for all the district 7 and 8 playoff games.

I can understand what cellking is talking about. 1/3 of a schedule is just 3 games and looking at LC schedule Pineville would definately have a very good chance of winning 3 games if they played that schedule. Pineville is not a bad team, they had good speed and were very strong. With that said there is a lot more that goes into being a very good team like team unity and support from all areas and things like that which I can't reply on since there is no way for me to know. I don't think he meant it was like beating Bell or anything but you guys should know as well as I do that any win over a solid team is a big win when you are trying to build a program that is the very reason LC made a great decision to adjust their schedule and it has paid off in a big way. I am sure that you all think several of your wins are big wins and to teams like Bole, Bell and Lex Cath they would not be considered big wins. Just trying to point out where I think cellking was coming from, I don't think he was trying to insult LC or their fans.:igiveup:
