I've been doing some research....and stats wise Pike Central is more superior.

They've scored more points and have allowed less points than Fleming County.

And as far as the Fleming Co. fans....

Do you think that they'll be willing to make the long trip?

I think they are a spread you out type team or was in the past. I didn't make it to the game this year so I don't know their formation. I know they like to throw to Preston Dugan when they have a chance.

If they are as obnoxious as everyone says than let's just hope they don't make it. However if they do I believe we can handle them. PC fans need to be a lot louder than normal though.

Everyone? I think it is one or two Lewis County fan that have complained!!! Anyway, with it being so far away, I doubt many of our students will make the trip. Probably only parents and the die-hards will make this trip!!

I guess no one with alot of knowledge on them wants to give me any information lol...thats fine we will see friday, should be a good game either way win or loss it is a great turn around for the Pike Central program. I am sure Fleming is a good program this year since they play in a tough district and finishing 3rd is not a bad thing for them, cant wait...look forward to seeing a great game...Now if you Fleming Co. fans get to out of hand be forewarned I will not hold back on your kids or coaching staff haha jk Tongue

Fleming County ran mostly wishbone against Russell but spread things out later in the game when they got behind. Watch out for #11 fir Fleming. A very good athlete that can hurt you in slot of ways.

Didn't mean to offend anyone. I saw a few other people on another thread complaining as well. I know that all Fleming fans are not bad, but there are bad apples in everyones fan base. I was just saying that if we can deal with the negativity from another fan base (I won't mention any names because I don't want to start anything) than I know we will be able to ignore the negativity from a few FC fans. Again I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my comment. However, I still think the Hawk fans need to step up their cheering abilities. IMO we have the quietest group of fans I have seen all season.

this is a big game for the hawk nation, we gotta back the team all the way. everybody come to the game that can and witness history as the hawks take the field and win their first playoff game in the schools history. i have to give it to the hawk defense, there pretty good this year.

If the Hawks get their heads up and come to play ball in the playoffs....Who knows how far they can go.....I have a lot of confidence in these young men and as long as they believe and stay on task....they will be successful. They just need to stay focussed and keep their eyes on the prize.

I heard they run wishbone and tight defence,nothing we've not faced before,I think Chapman will have the boys prepared!! They need to keep there eyes on the prize!! oh FC fans,They are bad fans in every program,please remember,as a hawkfan we DONT yell profanities @ your children..Please be respectful of ours!!!!!

:Thumbs: No I must say I have been to every game this year and not once have I witnessed any of us hawk fans yell profanity at any coach, player or other parents. So, lets have a nice, clean game. FC come out support your boys but keep it clean. We will respect you as long as you respect us.

The guy on the PA gets a little carried away with his cheerleading, but the Pike Central fans are top rate. Thye are loud and proud, but respect the teams on the field and the opposing teams fans.
Chapman will have this team ready. The Hawks by 14. Central fans mark the date. this Friday is the date your programs future will be built upon. Good Luck. Hoping for an injury free game for both teams.

Yeah I agree the guy on the PA tries to get the fans going when were on Offense. LOL We try to stay quiet so the boys can hear the plays. That's okay though because sometimes I don't think our fans would make any noise at all if it wasn't for that guy.

I was at this game and didn't hear one bad word out of the Fleming fans. I talked to several of Fleming fans and they were very respectful and impressed with the strides our football team was making. I hope Fleming doesn't think all Lewis fans are complainers.

Tell us something about Pike Central. What offense/defense do they run? Are they big/small, fast, etc... All I have heard is that they have a pretty good Qb and tailback.

I couldn't tell you their size exactly but by guessing I would say the Qb is about 5'11 180lbs and fast and the tailback is about 5'9 and around 200lbs tough boy very strong runner.

I wonder if these are the same posters or is Ashamed maybe somebody from Fleming trying to act like nothing ever happened at their game. Now i'm not saying anything happened I just find it a bit crazy that we have a ashamedlcparent contradicting what proud said now.

For whats its worth I've never heard any Fleming fans say anything to Russell.

First off don't worry about it. Second NOT THE SAME POSTER.Third not from Fleming. All I am saying is I did not hear anything where I was at.There could have been something said somewhere else for what is worth.

Which tailback...there are like 3 different ones.

We have a power runner...a speed runner...and I guess a balanced.

Cody Meade is our power runner (primary)...Michael Chandler is the speed runner (mainly used in slot/special teams)...I don't know the 3rd player's name.
