The more I think about this game, the more I can't ignore the fact that Garrard ran all over Rowan. I know Rowan has 7 wins but you can't let a team like Garrard run all over you.
I know that I am going to committ a Cardinal sin but Garrard beat Rowan and then lost to LINCOLN, West Jessamine AND Estill County! I will give them West Jess but Lincoln and Estill? They beat Wayne County by 7 AT HOME and Rock beat Wayne by 35 AT Wayne County!
As I said before, to get a good barometer of a team you don't compare schedules but I think that Rockcastle's schedule prepared them well for the playoffs...Rowan's did not.

Rock should win this one fairly easily. Even though they have a poor record they have played a really tough schedule and lost a couple of close ones.

No disrespect intended but this is Rowan Co we are talking about beating Rockcastle. It just isnt going to happen. Rock will shut out any rushing attack Rowan has. I mean it is Rowan vs. Rock. Who woul have ever thought Rowan would be considered to beat Rock. Not me. Remember it is Rowan, not Boyle or Bell.

When you are home sick with the flue you have a lot of free time on your hands. So I decided to simulate the game on NCAA 10, I have seen ESPN try this before so I thought It would be cool to start something like this for high school. I am going to try to do this for all the district 7 and 8 playoff games

Cross had 109 yards rushing and 2 td's
Clark Rowe only had 75 yards rushing and one td but was injured in the first and did not return

"former" I think you should show Rowan a little more respect, after all they finished 2nd in their district. I know their district has not always been as strong as Rockcastles district, but things have away of changing. I think the Rockets win by a couple of scores, but Coach Parkey needs to air it out some.

Can't wait to see your post after the game Friday night. Sounds like your heart and not your head made this prediction. Much has been made about the Garrard County game. That was early and Rowan's QB is just a soph, in his first year of starting. They had 6 TO's. Much different team now. They played a very good Mason County team close, and played Lawrence County pretty close. Is Rock that much better than those 2 teams? I can assure you it will NOT be 45-6. Don't know who will win, but it will not be 45-6 for either team. Rock may win; if so, the margin will likely be around 2 TD's.
