i cant wait for this game be second game ive got to go to since i got sick again, should be a dog fight, whoever wins should be whoever has less turnovers.
#3
How many times have these 2 met and what is the series record between them?
#4
This game has to be in the pick um next week. Going to wait and hear some records in this series.
#5
sc should win by 2tds if they dont get in any fights
#6
Thanks to Sheldon Clark getting injuries and suspensions in their fight against Belfry and subsequently losing to Pike County Central, this should be one of the best 1st round playoff games in the state. Usually, 1st round playoff games are a blowout one way or the other, but I look for this to be a competitive game. Sheldon Clark should be looking to redeem themselves and get another shot at Belfry. Russell should be looking to atone for a season ending loss to Raceland. Both teams have a lot to play for so this should be a hard fought game.

Russell played Sheldon Clark in the playoff in 1993 and won 20-0. That was the only game I seen in Russells playoff history that they played Sheldon Clark.
#8
Sheldon Clark by a couple if they dont turn the ball over.

What kind of offense does SC run? I hope they dont throw much. Russells pass deffense is non existent.

sheldon clark in a tough one.

go cards!!!

I think that Sheldon Clark has the better team, but if you think your going to walk into Ivan McGlone Stadium expecting a win then you need to smell the coffee because your going to face a helluva team. I think this will be a great game between two teams that are smashmouth and both have bend, but not breakable defenses. I wouldn't mind seeing this game, but hopefully its a good/clean game.

Best of luck to both!

SC rolls to the 2nd round pretty easily in this one!!!

Russell High School
709 Red Devil Lane
Russell, KY 41169

Pretty easy to find come all the way up 23 through Ashland and continue on 23 through winchester ave down past the ashland town center mall until you come to the Russell taco bell. You make a left at st route 693( (Diederich Blvd). If you follow that road it will take you right to red devil lane it sits up on the hill. You'll know your pretty close when you come to the sign that says Red Devil territory. At the bottom of Red Devil hill you will see a head stone company with some head stones sitting out for graves.

Me and a friend are getting some Texas Roadhouse before the game. Thanks for all the info this will be my first trip to Russell and I'm hoping to see a darn good game. What can you tell me about your Red Devils this season?

We rely on #23 Travis Jones for a majority of the offense and some on will rice the fullback. Russell doesn't have a qb who can be very accurate when we do pass which isn't very often. We have shown signs all year of weakness in pass defense. We are good at stopping the run but the pass not so much.

Our pass defense pretty much cost us the game at Raceland.

Do you all still run the wing-t?

Yeah that's not going to change as long as McGlone is at Russell.

That kinda makes nervous about this game as that is what LC ran this year and we had some trouble with it. But we have grew as a team and I think we will be more prepared for it this time. Its now time for the funnest part of the year to start.
#29
SC is still not a 100% as many have said. They still have a few key players injured. Hopefully they have had the time to make the adjustments. If they have they should role through this game. If not it could be just like PC.

SC takes this game in a good one.
