I think it was a few years ago when Boyd County went down to Bell Co. as a 4 seed and upset the #1 seed Bell Co. Any Bell County fans remember that one??? hh:

Since Dudley is good friends with Greenup's coach I doubt Dudley will run the score up on this one. He will play like he does against Wayne Mills at KC.
Boyd Co did beat us in 2003. Thats when Dudley was rebuilding Bell Co back from where he left to go to Bourbon Co.

What kind of kool aid are you drinking? I never heard of kool aid being 100 proof. Bell will win this by as many as they want.I am not trying to offend you just trying to be funny.

I think District 7 could sweep Distict 8.

If Greenup gets to the field first and there comes a massive flood covering all the roads to the field and there is no other way to the field, then maybe Greenup won't get beat! Hate to say it but get ready for next year the party is over. Paul Reliford at Fairview once said if we go 1 and 9 and the one win is Raceland we have success. You can look at it like him or try and build a program.

You know what scratch that score, this is Greenup County! If Bell plays varsity atleast the first 3 quarters there are gonna be some state scoring records set here if Bell's coach lets them! I think that Bell will prolly score 3-4 TD's each quarter that varsity plays and 1-2 each quarter JV plays. So assuming varsity plays atleast 3 quarters and Bell's coach doesn't take it easy on Greenup Co, this is my new prediction:
Greenup-0
Bell-84

Boyd did beat Bell but they were not a typical 4 seed. They battled injuries all year then finaly got healthy they were very talented Bell seemed to sleep walk after jumping out 14-0 I think? Bell played bad and Boyd took advantage and then lost a heartbreaker in the Region finals.
This will not a be a game like that.

Go get 'em BOBCATS! Hope this is an injury free game for both teams. Gotta love playoffs in high school football!

a waste of gas for greenup. How many 4th seeds ever win. Boyd's win at a 4th seed is very very rare. Look in your newspapers next saturday mronig. Nothing but blowouts.

Everyone knew that this year would be rough, heck there are 7 seniors and its a class that has never been very talented. GC will have the entire o and d line back next year and a bunch of good skill players. There is an excitment around GC football know that hasnt been in this county for years. That is how its going, and I think its going really well. How is it going for Pikeville? I heard its sometimes hard to get the choosen son to even come to practice.

They need to take this year and build from it heck just look at LC. The belly isn't an easy offence to just pick up it's a good one but it takes time for the kids to catch on. And with all the kids they had coming and going to other schools though out the season I don't know how they did what they did. But Good luck to them and get ready for basketball season. And get all the ones that don't play B-ball in the weight room because next year start's next week for Football.

Going really well? 3 wins - over Raceland, 1A school who is down this year by their standards and had a bunch of injuries early; over Notre Dame, one of the very worst teams in Ohio; over East Carter, one of the very worst teams in Kentucky. That is exciting. Over/Under wins for GC in 2010 is 3, unless Notre Dame isn't on the schedule. Then it's 2. Wrong info on Pikeville also, and I believe posting false information on this site is against the rules.
