Prestonsburg's offensive coordinator should be back with the team this week, they'll have the passing game going again mixed in with some jet. I think Prestonsburg looks to really show that they are one of the top teams in class 2A and the Mountains.

Prestonsburg wins by 4 touchdowns.

P-burg used their offense to play defense against Valley. They ran often instead of passing to keep the ball away from Valley. I look for the Blackcats to use this game as a chance to fine tune the passing game for the playoffs. P-burg 42

What "first" would that be. PC beat Prestonsburg in 2000.

Prestonsburg is tough. But this will be a good game.

I predict a win margin of less than 5 points.

I think it would be the first 6 win regular season.....I could be wrong. It would also be the first loss for Prstonsburg this season....who knows....

No PC won 6 games in 2000, 2001, and 2005. But hopefully it will be P-burgs 1st loss. But they have a ton of momentum and the Hawks are gonna be hungover from the SC win.

Correction 6 wins in '01, '02, 5-5 in '04. '01 was the year PC beat Prestonsburg.

Because its still SC whom they have only beat one other time in the history of the school i do believe. Do you think it didnt mean anything to PCC? If SC beat Belfry or whoever and they had starters out do you not think it wouldnt mean anything?

I'm taking the Blackcats in this one by 3 or more touchdowns. I'm not knocking Pike Central, just have faith that Prestonsburg will play much better in this game than they did against Shelby Valley.

I know PCC is getting a lot better, and the win over SC got them the home playoff game. The only thing is, i dont think the win is very impressive. Take away the backfield of any solid team, and force them to play young guys.....It might be ugly

SV ran through the hawks like water, Dillion Hughes and Bj had over 400 yards of offense, and Varney threw 2 ints. and Valley still won handily.

IMO, This game will be close for a half, because it is senior night for Pike Central.

Pike County has also cancelled for the remainder of the week due to illness. So do they play? If not, who has to forefiet to who or can it just be cancelled.
I don't think either team would want to play on Monday of next week due to the playoffs starting.
