LC comes off a 4-0 District Championship and head across the river and down 52 to take on the Rebels. Who ya got?

Throw thr records away for this game it should ba a dandy. I look for the dawgs to be a lot more focused in this game or at least they should be because the play offs are here. And they will need to start playing thier best ball and I hope it starts here. They have improved all season but now it's time to really step it up every game will be tough from here on out starting with Tolsia. I'll take the Dawgs but afraid to say a score just because of the old rival between these schools:popcorn:

This could be very interesting. If you look at the common opponent of Winfield which both beat at home you would think LC wins this one easy. Tolsia won by 2 or 3 while LC blew them out. However, if you look at it from the Pike Central point of view where Tolsia beat them by 24 at home and then PCC beats SC easily tonight which LC only beat by 6 at home. Granted SC was coming off a hard Belfry game and without some players but still.

And a couple of thier line men also. It would be hard to beat anyone with your starting running backs out but thats the price you pay for fighting

I know they lost their backfield, but PCC beat East Ridge pretty much the same as LC and they still lost to Tolsia by 24. I know each game is about matchups and some luck. I really think LC is at least 3 TD's better but it has to make you wonder as well. Tolsia has now lost 2 in a row and won't want to end the season with 3 straight loses.

Bulldogs will come out focused to play in this one, I hope this one stays clean and has no fights or anything like that. I have all the respect for Tolsia, but this one is going to the Dawgs.

This is a game where records, stats and all the normal stuff doesn't matter on either side. These kids know each other and are around each other all the time - so nobody is really in awe of anybody.
Tolsia will play like their cleats are on fire, and Lawrence County will be fortunate to escape with a win, their bus intact and without having heard a stream of profanity you can't find outside a Snoop Dogg record.
Should be a very interesting night.

I think that Tolsia may surprise us in the first half... may even come out winning at halftime...but in the end LC is just too deep. Tolsia will just wear down. LC by 3TDs.
