I hate burnt popcorn!

I just burned a bag of microwaveable popcorn and now my entire downstairs smells horrible!

I have febrezed, lysol'ed, bath & bodywork'ed, candle'ed, and lemon pledge'ed everything I could and the smell will not leave!!!

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.:beg:

I don't think there is anything else you can do..lol...just keep some good smelling candles burning the entire day.

Hahah.. that's horrible. You could probably open up a few boxes of baking soda and set it around the house lol..

I guess I could leave the house and go shopping. The smell of new clothes makes everything smell better.:thumb:

That's terrible. Why is it that it is only the worst smells linger for hours and days, like anything burnt and smokey?

I hope I don't end up like the Incredible Shrinking Woman with all the different products that I've used trying to get the smell out.:yikes:

Smelling burnt popcorn makes me sick. In high school we burnt a couple bags of popcorn as a joke and the hallway my class was in smelled horrible for days...lol

The good news is that the smell is leaving...the bad news is my husband will want a bag tomorrow when he gets home from work.

He better not burn it like I did.

i think that's probably what happened to it.. People got lazy.... and I fixed some popcorn the other day on the stove.. ya know where you actually have to put the oil and popcorn seeds or whatever in a kettle.. and i must say.. even though i suck at cooking and all that.. microwave stuff will never be as good as homemade junk..

except hungry man meals.. those are great..

Hey, I was just informing ya, not picking of you.

But I hate the smell of burnt popcorn as well, lots of people do it at school too. I know we did my sophomore year and it smelled bad for 3 or 4 days in that hall.
