SC wins a tough game. Both teams really want to win this game. I know that SC has been working hard on their strategy in order to get this win. I believe in the ability and the heart of this SC team. Our defense will be able to stop the running game of Belfry, and since they don't throw the ball successfully, our defense will be too tough. SC's Offense has many weapons, and a great team effort will be a key to our winning. Our spread offense will be too much for the defense of Belfry. Stepp has a great arm and our use of several key receives will allow us to score some TD's. This game will be a war, and Belfry players and fans better be ready for the Cardinals of SC!:redboxer:

I agree it will be a war. I think Stepp is a weapon that can help SC out through the air. He will have to make better decisions than he did against Pburg or it could be a long night for the Cards. I expect both teams to line it up and run it down each other's throats. I give a speed advantage to the Pirates, but I really believe this may be the most evenly matched game these two have played in a long time.

Or on the other hand we dominate the game. SC has 3 or 4 backs that have 65 or 70 yards a piece and throw for a good 150. And then we see if Belfry is up for the test :]
P.S your backs are soft with the exception of Varney.

I think each team's running game cancels out the other. As such, I think the team with the most success passing the ball will win.
Belfry does a great job disguising their passes and they pick their spots well. The Pirate offense lulls the safeties towards the LOS then BOOM !!, the RB goes right on through the line after the playfake on a deep streak up the middle. But...I don't know if they'll be enough passing "spots" for Belfry to make the difference.
Sheldon Clark looked really good on the short/intermediate routes mixed with draws/traps when it ran its "hurry up" set vs. P-burg. It's a very effective spread when it was played that way. But...I doubt Coach Hager can stand throwing it 25 times or more, as that's what it'll take for the Cards to play it effectively.

Going to be a great game cant wait 4 friday been awating this game since the last time we played!! Both team are gonna make some noise ,both teams are gonna want this game and the team with the most heart at the end of the game is gonna come away with the win whoever wants it the most!! !!!Imo it will be the cardinals there hungry for this game and will come away with the win just got to be under control in big situations!! Lets go cards lets finally get the respect we deserve!!:Thumbs:

Haha no disrespect towards you. Im ready to eat some Belfry tailgate this thread was just kinda lame before and i was trying to get it pumped up. Ill tell him but when SC #5 scores ill throw some love your way :] Just tell me what section you tend to get comfy in.

Granted, a coach telling one of his players to not/watch what they post is one thing BUT, telling the parents they can't post... Now that is a different story!!! Besides that, why would you kick a starter on defense off the team for posting on a message board? Doesn't really make sense does it now!
