Breathitt County 35 - Estill County 6
#1
Final.
#2
Did Channing play?
#3
Huge win for Breathitt and just what they need to build momentum and regain form.
#4
Yes Channing played.

Nice win for the bobcats. I am glad to see Trent playing running back. With Jade at Quarterback and Richard and Channing at running back, I think this is the combination we have been looking for to make some noise on the offensive side of the ball. Although Breathitt is 3-5, I feel this is another confidence builder this team needs to make a push at another state title. I was also impressed with the young kids this week who continue to improve week after week. Go Bobcats!!!!!!!

Nice job BC

congrats on your win bc!!

Great win for the Bobcats, they really needed that. I watched them play LCC in a scrimmage earlier this year, they looked pretty solid. I'm glad things are starting to look up in Jackson, KY.

Momentum is a powerful force either way.

Great job from BC..I love when teams start out like they did, and instead of packing it in, they get a big win here and there, and are clawing their way back into the thick of things..good job guys!

Yeah, these guys are some scrappers for sure. It just makes me sick to watch so many jump on and off the band wagon so often.

I do not see what the big deal is here. They beat a below average EC team. Any win this season is a plus though. Go Bobcats, keep improving so that in the playoffs, you can make a run for BG.

The "big deal" is that Breathitt is turning things around. They got McKnight back from injury...a senior lineman that plays both ways...Channing is healthy and running like a thoroughbred.

I also went to the Powell game last Fri. and Channing scored 5 touchdowns the first 8 times he touched the ball. He ran through the entire Powell Co. defense. It was an incredible sight to see. He could have easily scored 10-12 touchdowns that game and it was not just a poor Powell Co. defense....it was Channing being determined that no one was going to bring him down.

Breathitt has had so much success the last 15 years that I do not think they start to get fired up till playoff time gets near. Also remember that they actually won the Sheldon Clark game because they had the go ahead td that was called back due to an equipment violation. Also, the 1 point loss to an excellent Prestonsburg team could have went either way.

Channing, Haddix and the rest of the Bobcats will be ready for Belfry or anyone else for that matter come playoff time. Holcomb has been smart to take it easy on the "big horse" for the first part of the season...now he has what I think is the best running back in the state healthy and ready for the big run.

I got a feeling that Channing is going to have an awesome post season...leading his team to the promise land...and get Mr. Football this year.
