Interesting night in Minnesota, as Brett Favre was **** near perfect going 24 of 31 passes for 271 yards and three touchdowns. Favre led the Vikings to a revenge win over his former employers, the Green Bay Packers.
As good as Favre was though, I don't think Green Bay is necessarily upset that they split with Favre, seeing as Aaron Rodgers threw for 384 yards and two touchdowns. If he only had a semi-legit O-line, he might have thrown for 1000 yards.
But the Vikings D-line got to Rodgers time and time again, and in the end, that was basically the difference in the game; that the Vikings could actually pass block and the Packers couldn't.
These teams meet again in November in Green Bay, where I have a feeling the conditions will be a little less favorable for Favre. But at least for right now, the Vikings should probably be considered a reasonably legit contender for the NFC championship, behind the Saints and Giants.
Love Favre And Love the Packers, I have mixed emotions,

I don't know if we are now without College or not, anyway the O-line stinks with or with out him. The O-line or NO-line as I like to call it is their biggest problem by far, but it isn't their only one. We do however make some DE's look like pro bowlers, Allen this week was in Rodgers face the whole game.
We also have to fix two other problems, One is that Aaron Kampman needs to go back to DE where he can do what he does best, not LB where he ends up in coverage. We have a very active Clay Matthews to put in at LB. Second thing is the Greg Jennings/ Where's Wado thing going on. If Finnley keeps doing his thing we may not care if Jennings is there or not.
Give the Vikes their due they played to win.

Good post
Kampman definitely needs to be put on the line...
I know he's not satisfied not getting to rush the passer on 95% of the snaps
Not many offensive lines in the league can deal with Jared Allen though.....that man was playing out of his mind!
Aaron Rodgers definitely looked like he has the potential to be a top-tier qb in
the league.....he just needs more help
Good game Favre....and Favre has to be the luckiest man alive for getting that interception wiped off for pass interference lol
