Nevermind now I heard that Cumberland used a ineligible player against Betsy Layne and they had to forfeit their 49-0 victory. Oh well...I am tired of thinking about this...guess I will find out tommorrow.

What was the extent of Doderer's shoulder injury? Will he be able to play any more this season?
With or without him Panintsville should win by big if they leave their starters in all game

It will be without Doderer, hopefully this week in practice the Tigers can readjust their offense. After Hans left the game, it seems the Tigers struggled to move the ball and had a big letdown all around. It was expected with such a key cog going down, and the lack of PT by anyone else at HB. Hans sustained a broken collarbone in the 2nd quarter at Pikeville yesterday evening. All this was confirmed earlier this evening by a very reliable source. Evarts isn't a bad team, this should be a good test for the Tigers without Doderer. They'll definitely need to find what they lost in the second half of last night's game for the 2nd round of the playoffs. I'm sure Hazard would like nothing more than to roll back into Paintsville in round 2 and that's very possible.

After the Apple Bowl the TIGERS have had a great running game! If PAINTSVILLE runs the ball like they can than it will be an easy WIN! If the TIGERS get pass happy than watch out Evarts may surprize ya.

Let me guess, you've seen Paintsville once maybe twice this season and if it was twice it was vs. Hazard. Paintsville's had a successful passing year as well whether you believe it or not. In the Apple Bowl, Paintsville knew they had to pass to win the pressure upfront caused bad decision making, bad passes and resulted in the blowout. Against Hazard, Paintsville knew Hazard wasn't as physical but had better athletes so running was the obvious choice. By air or by land, the Tigers are a threat.

What happen to Doderer?

This game will dependon how good Mefford runs for Evarts. If he gets 30 to 35 carries, it will be a close game. If Paintsvillle limit his touches, they should win easy. I like Paintsville.

This is a good game for them to get everything back in order for the playoffs. Paintsville won't take Evarts lightly, they know they didn't play to their potential and they'll come out ready for the new season.

This is terrible news Mojo. I bet he is so disappointed. With him out it will effect Paintsville overall chemistry. I hope they can get it going in the playoffs without him.

Snoopy.. Didnt Evarts play Lynn Camp tough? Well at least for a half they did. I think that was the game that got called off. Im not sure though. Could of been different game.

I'm pretty sure that is what occurred at Pikeville the other night. Hans went down, and then from then out (2nd & 3rd quarters) the guys seemed lost to an extent. Seems they finally woke up and realized they were in a game in the 4th but it was too late. Hopefully they'll be able to rebound and adjust to Hans' absence to make a run at the playoffs. If not you may see Evarts pull an upset.
