I think the only way East Carter has a chance is for Lawrence not to show up lol. The closest it"s going to be is when they first meet and that"s it< from there it should be all lawrence

My son is a senior for GC who has not lost to LC the last couple of years. to be 0-11 last year, and now world beaters is hard to swallow, you have not played Ashland or Russell. I am glad you are having success, you deserve it, SC was a signature win.:notworthy

I think this Lawrence County team bould beat Russell this year, they had a chance to last year and they are a lot better this year. The ashland game would be tough though, i think that would be a great game to watch.

I'm not sure that LC could compete with Ashland , they are and outstanding team. Russell would also be hard to beat they have a great coaching staff. But as for East Carter, Lawrence should have this game easy. With the season for LC being 0-11 last year that is tough to compare them with teams such as Ashland and Russell. With that being said the thread is about East Carter and LC will win this one.

But look who Lawrence played last year,Belfry,Prestonsburg, Sheldon Clark, North Laurel, Letcher Central, and Russell. Look how most of those teams are doing this year, I think Lawrence can compete with both Russell and Ashland, I'm not saying they could win both but I like their chances.

Dawgs will win big! 5-0

Lawrence beats East if the Dawgs play their game. Ashland would be a killer game I would like to see. Old Warrior u must have played with Mckell or Wurtland maybe ?

headlines read: The Lawrence County Bulldogs get first shutout of the year!!!!

AMEN!!!! I wish we played the teams we played last year. There is no doubt that we would hold our own and even win a few that were close last year.

yeah this one is going to get nasty early, second half should be jv maybe all freshamn and sophomores playing. lc has alot of good looking underclassman though.

Massay prediction: Lc 38-17

If the JV does play and plays early I don't see LC getting the shutout.

Enough of the past and get this on the LC / EC game.
09-24-2009, 05:29 PM
LC - 49
EC - 6
I think EC's points will come off of Lawrence's JV and Freshman teams late in the game. Coach Salmons will not run up the score no matter what happened in a scrimmage last year. Too much class. Until then, they will step on their throats
