Bell will never play the boro again because they are too scared and they dont like losing thats why they quit playing us so instead of going 8-2 or 9-1 every year now they can go undefeated but they couldnt get away from that nagging playoff bug could they lol sorry middlesboro alum but its the truth.....remember the storm at bell high bell was leading 49-14 at halftime but roark refused to play when the refs said the lightning was gone because he said if the players got muddy cause it was raining they would get mud every where on the bus locker room at the school so they tucked there stingers between there legs and left at halftime then the next year we beat them 49-14 again LMAO but its all in fun dont get mad i do wished they would start playing again though its the best rivalry in the state and fun times

Middlesboros last beat down by Bell was 56-6 that is when they decided to take their ball and go home.

I kwow it is good to pump up our kids, but IMO to think that we are going to blow Rock away is alot to bite off. (IMO of course)

Bell's D should show up again and keep Rock out of the endzone!! Hopefully Coach will turn lose Dominic Carton on offense along with Cory Davenport this game!!!!

Taking Bell in this game with a big margin win. IMO Carton's to valuable on D to be worring about him playing in the backfield. Can't afford for him to be having cramps and coming out on defense. He's a heck of a back but to watch him play defense is just scary!!:yikes:

Thank you.
I realize that Bell kicked Rockcastle's butt last year but they graduated a ton of seniors and Rockcastle is playing better football.

We are gonna feel a few of those losses but in regards to the WR's, Bishop has grown in leaps and bounds from last year. He is making the other recievers better. The defense feels the loss of Steve, Devon and Casey. The offense has gotten better and the line has gotten bigger and more experienced.
I don't want to jinx the Rock but this is the healthiest they have been in quite a while.
I realize that the odds are stacked against the Rock, but Rock has beaten Bell as the underdog before and Bell has beaten Rock as the underdog. That is why this is a great rivalry, and I personally think the best one. The series in this decade is 8-7 Rockcastle leading. On the 25th Bell will be looking to tie the series, Rockcastle will look to upset the defending State champs!

Rockcastle, like everyone else always plays Bell tough, could be a tight game. But Rock, like my mama use to tell me "come and get your whoopin. :redboxer:

Rock has to play Defence better then they did vs Pulaski or its going to be a long night. If rock can get the D going, there is no reason they cant win this game.
09-19-2009, 10:26 PM
If a Bullfrog had wings it would not bump its tail on the ground.
Bell should be ready to play friday night and hopefully continue to get better. I look for Madon to have a big game. He has been getting better and better.

I agree. It looks like they didn't play very good on that side of the ball the other night. It will still be a great game. Go Bobcats!

I say Coach Saylor will make sure that the game film will be a resource to better our defense as far as motivation and admiration and if that can be done, I guarentee that Rockcastle will come ready to play and they cannot letup on those kick returns on the opponent, have to make them tackles.

Rockcastle has really improved from last season, Clark Rowe got a little experience of the running game and look where its got him now and you must remember he was starting fullback at the age of 13. Now in this year of 2009 as starting tailback right behind John L. Saylor, Rowe has now 757 rushing yardage in just 4 games played if I'm not mistaken. Dustin Bishop is more consistent with the passing game from last year, Jamie Todd jumped up a tad, his gripping is scary sometimes but when Todd catches it he sure takes full boost on the speed. Mainly Rockcastle needs improvement on is majorly the line opening holes for Rowe and defense which is not normal to say about Rockcastle County but after witnessing Rock and Pulaski, defense is the indeed major. The Pulaski County game in my opinion was a sure test and both did not do bad at all overall, some mistakes as natural but overall very good game. Rockcastle has to be ready basically as soon as week 5 starts til friday.

What makes you say that. IMO Bell's offense is alot better that Pulaki's and Rock's defence gave up 47 points. Bell' defence is alot better that Pulaski's. I just don't see it being a game. I thought that if Rockcaste beat Pulaski it would be a great matchup now I am not so sure.
