Johnson Central @ Breathitt Co. 9/25

An interesting matchup between the defending 3A State Champs and the biggest turn around and the hottest mountain team in the past 5 years. Both coming off memorable seasons but missing key cogs from last year. Not so much graduated players but assistant coaches, both of which took head coaching jobs else where. JC won last season's season opening matchup going away 26-14, but this season is a different matchup and story. Both teams are looking for win #2, throughout 6 weeks. Breathitt is hungry but JC has momentum now getting their first win of the season tonight.

My prediction:
JC 14
BC 12

Im gonna take JC by 3 td's. Breathitt Co. isn't near as tough as what everyone thought that they would be. Has Fugate had a big game yet this year? From what I have seen he's not in shape at all

I'll tell you what, if BC can put 48 pts on the board against JC they will be in Bowling Green come Dec. JC gave up 49 points to Boyle County and this BC team is no where close to a Boyle Co.

both 1-4....would have never have thought that....i'm gonna go with The Golden Eagles in this one.....i think the wheels are coming off down in Jackson...Holcomb is gonna hvae to figure out how to get em back on track.

I agree JC looks like a slight favorite. Both teams have been plagued with turnovers this season. JC just looks like they have the MO on their side.

I do have to disagree that JC is the hottest mountain team over the last 5 years though. Tongue

I'm going with the Eagles in this one. They played their best football of the year in the second half of the Middlesboro game. I say they keep things rolling and steal one on the road here.
