This one will be really close i would say but i think if allen central comes to play that they will win it and i would take AC 34-27
#2
it will take a better game than last night, atleast a more consistent effort for all 4 qtrs
#3

Allen Central should win this one but it is going to be close.
#5
Harlan by 2 td's +

Not making a prediction at all, just wondering what would make that big of a difference from playoff last year until this year when both teams have basically the same players left? Harlan destroyed them last year first round. Was someone hurt? Has Allen Central improved that much more that Harlan has?
#7
After blowing AC outta the playoffs last year and only loseing 2 seniors im taking the Green Dragons by about 3 TDs
#8
AC by 10

The Rebels played without tailback Justin Jackson. Logan Crowder played but had a groin injury going into the game and probably played at about 50%. Not sure if anyone else was out or not.

I think the rebels are going to get this one. The winner of the ground attack will win the game....
#11
The Rebels have the better team this year in my opinion, but it will be a very close game. I think AC takes it by 3. Should be a good one.

Best of luck to both!
#12
AC gets revenge this year as they win by 6.

AC 34
Harlan 28
#13
This one was an easy Allen Central win according to a thread a week or so ago. I think Pikeville and Paintsville were the only possible losses.

I'll take Harlan by 20.

AC by 12

I didn't watch the game last year in the playoffs, nor did I look at statistics and what not, but I do know Harlan owned the Rebels. Now, that's not an easy trip for anyone, so I'm gonna say that may have had something to do with Allen Central's performance. I think this time around, Harlan will be the team a little fatigued from the drive over. However, the Green Dragons will put up a strong fight, and these two teams will provide the crowd with an excellent game. I'm gonna take Allen Central by 5-10 points.

This game will be broadcast online at www.ekbsports.com and on 104.5 FM/960 WPRT Prestonsburg & 900 WLSI Pikeville.

Sounds good. I will go with what badman said.

Harlan by 2 TD's.

Harlan takes this one by 1-2 touchdowns.

Best of luck to both!

No one seems to think that Allen Central can get over the hump and beat someone they traditionally would be an underdog to.

I think people are underestimating how good Allen Central can be. This should be a win for the Rebels at home.

Harlan (legitimately) ran the ball for over 150 yards against #2 ranked Corbin. I'm not saying that AC doesn't have a chance but Harlan has already seen some solid competition and seems to be playing just as good as Allen Central. Plus the Green Dragons knocked off top 10 (1A) Williamsburg this past weekend.

If AC wins it would indeed get them over the hump.

Come on Allen Central look pass this underdog stuff and go beat #9 Harlan its your home field and you all should beat them and i believe you all can and if you all do it could be a great chance at getting ranked and getting people's attention and i would say it will be a close game but im hoping Allen Central shows up to play and beats Harlan
#23
Whoever has the ball last wins this one IMO...im pulling for the Rebels

Good luck to both!

Don't know much about either team.. I was shocked that Harlan beat Williamsburg last week. As much as I hate to pick Harlan, being Cawood Alumni, I'll take... Well nevermind.. Just not ready to take that step.. I'll take Allen Central by any score. Smile

AP Poll is done by the press and ranks each class. AC is ranked #8 in 1A.
