Kind of an upset but is Frankfort riddled with injuries.

Wow, shocker. Did'nt someone (star) from Frankfort get hurt this week

"Riddled"????
You lost the Weaver kid? 1 player? And we know that he is a very good player, but come on!
On Monday you predicted Frankfort would "roll" on Spencer County. I told you then to do a little checking!
BlackcatAlum said Frankfort would win in a "barnburner".
EJJAGS (who has seen his team play or scrimmage versus both) made the closest AND CORRECT prediction! I guess this makes the most sense since he has ACTUALLY SEEN both teams in person and isn't just guessing off of names, reputations, and scores on the internet?
cuppett777 also picked Frankfort, but had no other comments.
Stardust predicted Frankfort winning 35-24.
As far as calling this an "upset", I would disagree. I hate to get cocky here, but Spencer County is pretty dang good. And we are playing with mostly Juniors. We return the most players out of any team in our district. We have the District Player of the Year returning (Cameron Smith). We lost to 1 team last year (North Oldham) out of our district and beat Henry County (at HCHS) and Western Hills, but we were picked last in our district this year?
I think this is people who are supposedly "in the know" not even checking into Spencer County. The Courier-Journal had our players listed in the wrong positions (because they didn't even call for the info), and the Cats Pause had several incorrect parts to their team summary of SCHS.
I say keep picking against us. We travel to West Jessamine this week. We will see how that goes????

Drink a beer and chill. These are predictions, not personal attacks. You are right I made the wrong prediction as I did in the Breathitt/Prestonsburg game and the Sheldon Clark/Lawrence County. I do not know much about Spencer County Football nor do I about Fulton County football. Am I going to study these teams and become more knowledgeable. No. I could care less. I am not a sportswriter. Just someone having fun.

Why are you calling out anyone because they picked against your precious Spencer County? Heck, I even picked Franfort but only in a barnburner. Very Immature IMO.

Actually, I am drinking a beer and watching my beloved Clemson Tigers whoop up on Middle Tennessee.
Not taking this personally. I know all about message boards. You evidently ARE taking it personally to reply 3 times to my post before I could respond.
Here is my point (and please keep up because this is going to involve a little logic and common sense here) - Guys get on these message boards and look at names. They look at teams like Highlands, St. X, Boyle County, Beechwood, or any other recently or historically successful program and automatically pick them.
The fact that you said yourself that you aren't going to take the time to actually study the teams you are picking tells me that your predictions mean nothing. Why write anything at all then? Why would you put yourself out there, in a public place, with a very public predicition when you are admitting you have absolutely no idea what you are prognosicating?
As for your little jab that Spencer County could have or should have won by more without Weaver, that is you attempting to save face. We didn't put him out. It was bad luck on Frankfort's part and that young man. I hate that it happened as well. He had a great game against us last year (which they did win at their place). We played the team they brought to Taylorsville and were able to pull one out. I don't see any need to apologize for that.
Come on, big guy........ Looks like you are the one who needs to settle down.
You, and several others picked Frankfort. You were wrong. Period.
If you want to share a beer though, come on down to T'ville and watch the Tigers play with me!

When that prediction was made Quan Weaver was playing, correct? Yes. I know that it wasn't Spencer County's fault for Weaver not playing, but I think most of us who have a non-biased opinion would say Frankfort wins with Weaver.
BTW, I didn't mean to post TWICE (not three times). I was having internet difficulties at work.

Go look, just about every prediction thread we've had since the season started has been closed. Some may have been overlooked.

Your comment meant noting to no one because no one even knows where Spencer County even is. Heck, I wasn't even aware that their was a Spencer County in Kentucky until you began posting on this board. So you can take all the jabs you want, I don't care and I'm sure that everyone that posted a prediction in that thread doesn't care.

Come on now, keep up here.
Weaver was injured last Friday, August 28th.
You predicted a Frankfort win 3 days later on Monday, August 31st.
Now, just moments ago you said you made your prediction because you thought Weaver was playing.
Now, tell me how 1. You even know who Weaver is when you say you don't even know where Spencer County is? 2. How you can post as many times as you do, know so much about every single thread, and then not have known he was injured when it was talked about the following day (Saturday).
Here is what I think about you (and I don't mean this as an insult). You evidently are pretty involved in this website. You probably know a little bit about football (you are only 19 years old it says), but you are certainly not a state-wide expert (and neither am I). The difference in us is I'm not the one predicting results for these teams.
Now, this is where I believe you just hurt your credibility - you are an ADMINISTRATOR, DONATING MEMBER, and PREFERRED MEMBER it says. You just admitted that you don't know anything about Spencer County, but you predicted a score about them. You said that you don't know anything about Frankfort, but you predicted a score about them. You admitted that you REFUSE to study teams before you predict other scores about them.
If that is the way this board is run, by someone with over 13K posts, then I just have to laugh. You just cut your own legs out.
Again, not trying to be confrontational at all here. Just stating facts. I can go back and start copying your posts on here too if you'd like. Just repeating what you said yourself!

I never ONCE, stated that I don't know who Spencer County or Frankfort is. I stated that I hadn't even heard of them until you posted on this site (late June or early July one). I didn't see where Weaver was injured until Friday afternoon (Sep. 4). Didn't change my prediction, but said that Frankfort would win in a "barnbuner". I knew it would be a close game. But what's so wrong with prediction about a team you haven't seen play? You act as if its a crime or something, seriously. Where in the heck did I say that I refuse to study either team? I vote in our sites rankings, I've seen what Spencer County & Frankfort did last season and what they've accomplished thus far this season.
And please, copy/paste where I said that I don't study teams, or know who Frankfort or Spencer County is.

I remember seeing your first post about Spencer County in a middle school 7-on-7 and seen that had some decent looking athletes and looked up to see how good their high school program was. This was in the month of June I believe.
So tell me, where did I say I knew nothing about Spencer County's football team? I'll admit geographically, I don't know where Spencer County is located nor do I care.

I tell you what little buddy, you go ahead and have the last word.
I feel like I am wasting minutes of my life. I'm sure there are more important things for me to be doing than arguing with you right now. Especially when you have absolutely no logic to what you are saying.
You say what you want and I will let this thread die. It will flounder on down (unless someone else replies) and hopefully no one else will see that one of the moderators and adminstrators of this site is admittedly on here making predictions without first-hand knowledge of what he is talking about.
I wish I could tell you to pick West Jessamine this week since that seems to be a good luck thing for us, but we both know you and I have nothing to do with who wins or loses the games. My whole point was that you are supposed to be "in charge" on this site and then you say that is the best you can do?
I digress......
Let me have it, Chuck!

If you have such a problem with how this website is ran, than you can go pay $20 or go to another free Kentucky High School message board. I could care less. There's honestly no need for someone to get so worked up over something so little.
