I'm trying to play Halo with a few friends and it will not connect to Xbox Live. I tested the connection and everything passed except for the Xbox Live. It shows I have an IP address and all. I played it earlier as well and it worked fine.

Any idea what the issue might be? Anything would be appreciated.

Yeah Live is down. For it being sudden like this with on warning something must have happened with the servers. Can't even log onto xbox.com

Yeah, I've been googling xbox live message boards and found out it is down.
