Fedor Emelianenko will make his Strikeforce debut in a showdown with undefeated heavyweight Brett Rogers, Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker announced on Wednesday during the Russian superstar’s public workout at the Fighthouse Gym in New York City. No date or venue was announced.

Rogers is 6'5 265lbs. Could pose a thread to Fedor with his size advantage, but some also may have thought the same when Fedor knocked out Tim Sylvia in seconds. Rogers is also 10-0 and is most famous for this 22-second knockout of Andrei Arlovski.

Should draw some good ratings.

Fedor won't have any problem with Roger's size. Roger's doesn't have good lateral movement, Fedor will win this in less than a minute. I still see Dana White putting something free on TV at the same time as this bout.
