Name some of the underrated players in the mountains?
10-20-2005, 10:02 AM
I think Brenton Hamilton is Underrated he is the best fullback i think in the mountains !

Probably the most underrated quarterback in the mountains is Sean Music of JC. He can hurt you with his legs and with his arm!

i think as far as the underrated players its the linemen

I am going to agree with shafter9 the lineman, especially the o-line, has to be the most underrated players in any sport. I'm going take the time to thank every line man in ky for sticking in there, and keep playing.

I think that Bobby Hughes the QB for Pburg is underrated along with brenton hamilton

I think you are very so much Right!!!

South Floyd's Justin Slone is underrated

Lineman never get any publicity. That's a differnt issue.
As far as other players go,I haven't seen any underrated.
Most are terribly OVER-rated.
Most fans are terrible judges of real ability.

He might be a good QB but I've never heard of him pass it alot ! It sounds like they run run run.

James maynard, Sheldon clark

I say Bobby Hughes, Brenton Hamilton, and Chadd Blackburn.

brenton hamilton

I think Blake Johnson is underrated. He is on of the best fullbacks/LB in the mountains. He is overshadowed by the heroics of Blume, but without him I think JC would not be having the year that they are having.

J.C Keith from Lynn Camp
10-24-2005, 12:13 PM
Chadd Blackbun and Daniel Coleman(lineman) Coleman stays in all of the game and is won out by the time its over. He is not recognized anywhere but he should be

I almost forgot my boy Rod Smith. He don't get any respect and he is a awesome player. I give props to Rod.

All lineman. If you have a good O line then usually someone in the backfield stacks up the yards
10-24-2005, 02:18 PM
yes i wood have to say james maynard by far he is the littlest guy on the field and he will take on ne body he leads sheldon clarks defence

Linemen don't ever get a lot of respect for some reason, especially ours, where lynn camp doesn't get alot of publicity for some odd reason.... Wish we did though...Another guy who is really not mentioned much and is really improving...Nick Scalf...You never hear his name as much as some othe people...Not mentionin' any names *cough*Jimmy Chaffin*cough*, I'm sorry but its time these guys got some respect...one person doesn't make up the whole team...or in some cases the three-headed monster doesn't make up the whole team....LOL!!!

Nick Scalf does get lost in the ink that is put out about a very talented Lynn Camp team. The kid is a three year starter at quarterback and has been put through the fire. Gorsuch is another kid that plays well and kind of gets hid in the ink. Both do a great job for us. Is Scalf getting any looks from colleges? He would be a great defensive prospect for either of the local schools.

Josh Reynolds from Lynn Camp

I don't think Josh is underrated. Everyone knows him and knows his game. One of the best backs, O and D, in the mountains if not the state!:Cheerlead

i think scalf is getting looks from a couple of places. georgetown, eku, cumberland, and union
10-28-2005, 12:09 PM
I agree Josh Reynolds is not underrated, everyone knows about him and his hard hits....but someone that is underrated is Daniel Adkins & Scottie Brey
10-30-2005, 08:35 PM
JOSH is DEFINITELY NOT underrated, maybe anything but. He's part of the "three headed monster" hello...technically that's publicity definitely not underrated....

Angel Gurule from Ashland is still underrated in my opinion. Most people know he's a good player but he's not, he's a great player. He is probably the best player and biggest leader of a very good Ashland team. Angel is the heart and soul of this season's team. He gets overlooked a lot because of the popularity of Holbrook (who is also an amazing player but everyone knows about him). He MAY be the best receiver in EKY.

Corey Chapman, JR - RB/SS Belfry
Aaron Chapman, SR - TE/DE Belfry
Both are aggressive, fundamentally sound, and you never have to worry about them showing up. They come to play no matter who the opponent is, and they are very much worth the price of admission.
