Have they started practice yet?
They are starting July 20th
Does it pay off for them to have an extra week off?
If S.F. stays with the wing t and I figure they will, Newsome will be best at qb. Waggle is one of the big 3 plays and qb will run it if he has daylight. Now you have to defend buck sweep and will also have a threat on the waggle away from sweep.
You might want to even consider going shot-gun from the wing T with Newsome back there at Qb. Spread the field and let him run some speed option.
Yea, that would work.
who would be at TE and WR

id say freddie ousley will be TE and i think brandon marson said he might play if so i think that booger will be moved to WR IMO
did brandon marson play football last year or his 8th grade year?
his 8th grade year
Is he for sure playing this year? South Floyd could definitely use him.

I dont see Marson playing football, he'll be risking a chance on getting hurt and having to set out during basketball. I cant wait too see how the line-up will be when school starts. Also I cant wait to see how the line-up will change in about 3 weeks into season after most quit, like they do every year at SF.
yeah he won't play..idk they might stick through it but its untelling

Yea and that's why SF will have a tough year. Most of the kids are too sorry to get off the couch or the 4 wheeler. God forbid they might have to run 10 yards and break a sweat.
Plus what else makes me sick is when you have kids, who are good athletes, not play one sport cause they are afraid they might get hurt for another one... :baby:

Couldn't have said it any better my self big dawg.....
Give your all's opinon on who's gonna be on the line?
idk they dont have a lot this year but the ones that are playing look like they're into it i dont think more than 3 will quit

I hope your right. But I know when I played it was the same way until the first week with full pads on, the numbers started to fall. Once school comes back in some may still come out. But we'll see.
Yea, that usually happens but I agree w/ damageplan. i don't think many will quit. they are young and inexpirienced but they want to play.
there are some inexpirienced players on the team but they are also a lot of key players this year that have played almost every year of football since they was alowed pads if they can get their line straightened out their offense will be one of the best in the district IMO
Whats South floyd looking like? Whos going to be in what positions? Whos going to be their key players this season?
we'll see more about the team tomorrow at practice....
How did practice go?

What did the numbers look like?
its been going rly good, they had bout 22 there but alot missed cuz of vaction an all that stuff, id say prolly 30 will be there by school time
After looking at thier scheduale they should win 3 games. Evangel Christian, Berea, and Jenkins. They won against Evangel last season and should repeat that win. To my understanding Berea doesn't have much so they should be another win. SF beat Jenkins in a scrimmage last season as well and they should be able to pull off another win agaisnt them. Phelps is winnable for the Raiders but it will be a tough game. Betsy Layne will also be tough but they may just have to much to handle for SF's young team. Allen Central, Pikeville, Paintsville, Magoffin, and East Ridge are going to be tough opponets as well but for SF to come out with a win in those ball games, the whole team is going to have to pitch in and be almost perfect all night. Good luck Raiders!!
Berea was unbelievable last year. They will be really tough next year.

Good Luck Raiders
My mistake, I just looked at Berea's sceduale from last season and they was pretty decent.
how is practice going??
