Dakota Newsome was leading the class 4a in rushing touchdowns at some point for Rowan County, he had around 12-15 sumwhere around there an he didnt play 2 games due to injury, Hes a good QB, goes to all kinds of QB camps an got asked to go to UK QB skills camp. Hes a very good addition to the Raiders, Rocket arm, Throw it a mile and tuck the ball an run if he needs to, iv seen it in person... Im ready to see what offense they are gonna run with him at QB

According to khsaa he did play all 10 games. He rushed for quite a few yards so I would say they will open it up and let him run a little if he plays quarterback. Since SF lost so many rushers he might be a better fit in the back field.

because he moved back up here with his family.... He was originally from up here, then they moved to Rowan Co when he 3 or 4 years old. Now he has moved back...

Was he #1 for Rowan last year? He's a hard runner and this is him S.F. neads to run some option from their Wing T. He's an option qb. Runs hard.

He was the best player on Rowan's team last year. He ran hard and was not afraid of contact. He is a physical qb and will lower his shoulder and take people on. He has good vision and finds the open run lane. He will help S.F. alot.

this is truely a blessing for the raiders football program they are gonna be pretty good next year if they can get some blocking up on the frontline

well we all know if they get a good line they should be alright but what about their defense????????? cant win if you cant keep em off the score board

thats true and idk they lost a 2 good defenders last yr in a CB and a LB but they again they get a Bobby Meade back which is a good LB. 1 player can't stop a team tho, but they have a few other players and hopefully some new guys will wanna put a helmet on someone.

Did Meade sit out one season or two? I remember him playing but can't recall if he played his freshmen and sophomore seasons or just his freshmen season.

He played his freshman and sophmore year he couldnt play his junior year cause of grades =/

I haven't never seen this transfer play. But, the way you all talk he will be a great addition to the Raiders football team.

If they are gonna do a lot they better get the linemen in the weight room... Not gonna be doing much if the Backs are out benching the lineman....haha... hopefully they will be ok though....

Most likely QB because i think tyler moore will go to running back IMO the back field will be Dakota at QB Tyler RB Bobby FB and booger (David Slone) or weston little at the other back but im like everyone else if the linemen don't shape up it don't matter what kind of backfield you have your gonna not win games if the D line is in the back field before the Qb can even get the ball off

Yes, it's hard to do something when there is lineman hitting you before you even get the ball.
