Defensive Ends

Whats a good sized highschool D end and also whats a good 40 yard dash to aim for as a weak side D end in college?

Allan Fugate of hazard is a perfect example of a defensive end. He is about 6,3 240 and runs a 4.7 forty.

AS mentioned above..that is a GREAT SIZE DE! You usually find them around 190-230 average.....

40 time is not as relevent as perhaps box drill time, for DEs. There latteral (side-to-side) speed is the most important (since they often cover flats or have to string plays out).

That is exactly right. It is a rarity to get many athletic players in the 240 range. It's the 6-3 210 guy who goes to college and they add 60 pounds to him
