Kobe or LeBron?

If you're talking about Michael Jordan, No Way!Michael will always be the best.
If i had to chose between Kobe and Lebron I would chose Kobe
BlackcatAlum Wrote:I've said it a million times, Kobe is the better player right now. Even the guys at ESPN & TNT are saying that they would take Kobe over LeBron. Only reason why half think LeBron is better is because they hate Kobe. The other half think LeBron is better because he has better stats. Therefore LeBron & Kobe play totally different roles and Kobe plays on a much better team. So comparing stats mean nothing.

As for what I bolded above... Did you know that the Cavs have more NBA All-Stars on their roster than the Los Angeles Lakers? Don't the Cavs have a 2-time defensive player of the year on their team as well? You all can say what you want about Ben Wallace because he is still that player, but a terrible coaching job was done by Mike Brown in the Eastern Conference Finals because he was not used nearly as much as he should have been. I will agree that Big Z is a washed up NBA center that needs to consider thinking about retiring though.

The Cavs have a really good team, not as good as the Lakers, but a team good enough to win as many as they won last season and contend for another NBA championship.

Now I've already argued all I can argue, because I'm done talking Kobe & LeBron.

agreed.

Absolutely agreed. Kobe.

Shooting - Def. in Kobe's favor. Putting the scales in Kobe's favor by your calculatons.

Kobe take around 30 shots a games... If you don't get 30 or more pointsa games.... There is something wrong there.... Lebron don't take that many a game, in the few games i watch him play.... But in some of them games Lebron got shut down too....
The best player is a KY boy from Louisville.... AVG a T-D in the playoffs this year..... with around 17 points, 18 ***., and 11 reb....

Jerry West also said, that Lebron is the one that has the chance to be the greatest player of all-time and didn't he bring Kobe to LA and was GM for a bit to, right? Not all of them say Kobe is better. Barkley said Lebron is the best and a few others as well. Kobe is the best closer, but he does have twice the experience as Lebron and is about 6 or 7 yrs. older. Don't the Magic have 2 or 3 All- Stars as well? Still don't make up for why Kobe didn't make the playoffs without Shaq or make it past the first round. They won as many as they did, because of Lebron James. I mean come on. They got Zydrunas(34), Wally, Joe Smith(34), Gibson, Wallace(35), Varejao, etc. Compared to Kobe's Gasol(29), Odom(30), Walton, Farmar, Vuajic, Bynum, Ariza etc. Fisher is 35, but he's in tremoundous shape. IMO, he'll retire in about 2 more years. It's not even close really, in supporting staff that is. Cavs have Lebron and Mo Williams as All-Stars. Gasol and Odom both have been All Stars if im not mistaken, I kno Gasol has...By the way, how old is Ben Wallace? He'll be 35 in sept. Wallace is a energy player with rebounding and defense, when you've played 12 seasons in that role, it takes a toll. So he's not the same player.
KOBE has his 4th ring now. And for everyone who simply said MVP for there argument about Lebron.....FINALS MVP PLUS A 4th RING for Kobe. I rest my case. And i want the Lebron fan to admit, Kobe IS better then Lebron. ONe said he had to win a 4th ring before he was better, well he did, now admit it.
kobe......

So the Lakers would have won the championship without Kobe?

LeBron did some great things this season, but when he got the playoffs he swept passed two terrible teams in the first two rounds, then was defeated by an actual team that made LeBron do it on his own and not let his teammates get going. Point is, the Cavs went a little further than they should have. If the Cavs where in the Western Conference they would have been out in the 1st round.

Kobe could have possibly done the same thing this season if he where with the Cavs in the Eastern Conference. But he's not and he had to face really good teams each series in the playoffs unlike the Cavs who faced ONE good team that was in-control the entire series.

so your saying LeBron needs mo players than mo williams.:lmao:
Lebron needs more then just a few players. Kobe better teach him a bit more then he did at the Olympics. Because otherwise he may never win a championship.

Would the Lakers have made the playoffs with Kobe? good possibilty
Would the Cavs have made it without Lebron? no need to answer that.

You said it right HE, swept past 2 teams. His team couldnt make a shot. So it's not like he took every shot.

Thing is, how many titles would Kobe have without Shaq?

Jordan made Pippen what he was, as did Shaq when he was with Kobe.

So the Jazz, Rockets (without Mcgrady and Yao, basically) are that much better than the Pistons and Hawks. Not that much of a difference there.

Rockets took it to 7, only cause LA thought they had it made.

Lebron avg. 30ppg, 8rpg, and 7apg. during the season with a runner-up finish in def. player of the year. Imagine what his stats would look like if he was on the Lakers instead of Kobe. Something like 32ppg. 8rpg. 11apg. Which is Oscar Robertson type numbers.

Oh yeah, Lebron is only 24yrs. old. So that helps:worthy:
