What has everyone heard about this? From what I can find many people don't think it's logical, but Coach Calipari wants it to happen.... so who knows.

I personally think it's a great idea, and hope to see it go through. It would give so many more people the opportunity to go, and it would show Coach Cal how things are done here in KY. Wink

Only way this happens is if the decide to put a dome around Commonwealth Stadium.

the placed will be packed and and only standing room left. this would be awesome but hard to pull it off. i just wonder if coach cal plans to come in on a heli or something

Weather is the main issue. Putting a dome would cost a lot of money.

KY weather in October is unpredictable.. it could be 75 and sunny or 30 and snowing, it would be awesome to see this happen tho, but i dont see it possible.

Only one way this could be possible is if they gave the 24,000 tickets out to people for Rupp.. and if the weather is nice, they open up Commonwealth and have a first come type thing for the rest..

That way people dont travel to Lexington and get turned away because the have to move it to the smaller Rupp

Just a rumor, this will never happen in an open air stadium. Great idea, but don't get your hopes up.
