I have never seen where this really gives the number one seed the advantage.

The #1 has a huge advantage. They don't have to win a game on their opponents' floor to win the series, while their opponents do have to win on the road to win the series. And if the series goes to a 7th game it is at home...

not sure where your coming from because either way in a 7 game series no matter how u play the games 1 team has to win an away game, unless you play the 7th and final game on a neutral court.
but the 2-3-2 is wacked up,. seriously its actuaLLY an advantage to the away team, if they can steal a game 1 or 2 they get three straight home games to finish it off, yea the last to games are with the first see but by then fatigue is a factor
