Another tradgedy...

WLEX-18 in Lexington reported that Pike County Central senior Brandon Slone was killed this morning on his way to school by an 18 wheeler. Thoughts & Prayers go to the Slone family.

I got a phone call about this this afternoon....Very sad thing to hear. Pike County hit hard again....

That's so sad.. I will be praying for his family and friends..
does anybody know his parents name.. his name sounds very familiar to me

That is sad...I have noticed in my years of being in school that most kids that get killed while in high school are usually from car wrecks...I will keep the family and friends in my prayers...hopefully this will be the end of all the tragedy that's been taking place in Pike County...

I agree, the name sounds so familiar, and maybe with a picture I will remember him better. CTD might know something about him....

He was friends with my brother, and I am pretty good friends with his sister.

So young to be taken away from this world. Seems like this happens way to often. He was killed about 8 miles from my house. I saw the marks and debris as I traveled to and from work today. I pray for him and his family and for all of us to not have to face this in our own home. God be with us all.
