Owensboro, Kentucky resident and NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield tested positive for methamphetamine during a random drug screening May 1 at Richmond International Raceway, ESPN The Magazine has learned from two independent sources.

I was wondering when it was going to come out what he tested positive for!! Knew it was more than Claritin D. Really hate to hear this!! I always rooted for the Kentucky boys!!

i believe with my whole heart that he is not on drugs.I think this is a false positive. If so he didn't just pick up Meth one day, and be all like I'm going to do some meth. It doesn't work that way. IF it is true then drugs have been a problem of his for a very long time. Meth is serious stuff.

My guess is that he was drinking and sampled some. When a person is under the influence of alcohol, they will do things that they wouldnt normally do. I too dont believe that he his a meth head.
