Tiger Woods stormed back from 4 strokes to beat Jim Furyk by 1 stroke. This is his 4th win at Memorial in his career. Tiger had a 65 on the final round including a Eagle, and a back to back birdie on 17, and 18 to seal the deal. On 18 he put his 187 yard second shot only 14 inches to the pin.
Woods has competed in Seven events since returning with 2 wins. (Arnold Palmer Invitational, and Memorial)

Impressive comeback by Tiger.
Love III fell completely apart on the last few holes and Jonathan Byrd had an excellent weekend at the Memorial.

Guys' I was on the baseball field so I did not get the chance to see this. Anyone who saw it, I'd love to hear your comments on how Tiger got back into it, and finally took control for good. Any specifics on Tiger or Love's shots, misses, saves etc....

Tiger started out on fire Birding 3 of his first 5 holes. Including a 36ft putt for birdie. Everyone could see it coming. Johnathan Byrd took a 3 shot lead when he eagled from about 150 out. Johnathan Bryd -11 Tiger Woods -8. But then of course on the Par 5 11th hole Tiger chips from off the green and eagles the holes to bring him within 1. There then was a four way tie for the lead. Johnathan Bryd, Jim Furyk, Love III, and Tiger. Then on 17, Tiger hits a shot that left him a excellent 9ft putt for birdie and drills it. Then on the Par 4 18th hole he hits his second shot within tap in range. Love III had a great shot at it, but absoulty fell apart in the last couple holes. Tiger claimed the trophy with hitting a final round 65.
- 20th Comeback in Tiger's Career
- 67th PGA Tour Win
- Brings him to 4th on Fedex Cup Standings and 3rd in Money list. 3.24 Million
- 4th Win at Memorial, (1999, 2000. 2001, 2009)
- Hit 14/14 Fairways. Best performance ever from off the tee.

This has to be the most incredible stat that I have ever seen from Tiger. How many times have you seen Tiger make saves on his second shot that is in the Forest???
This was an incredible warmup for the Masters. If Tiger's driver is working, he could well blowaway the competition in a few weeks

I agreed. But, Tiger has to get that driver going.

I think 14/14 GIR means he is getting it under his control.

He practiced at Bethpaige (US OPEN) today. I mean he makes a huge comeback and is already concentrating on the US. Open. He did hit mostly 3-Wood of the tee, but did hit Driver 3 times and was in perfect position on all 3 drives.

Tiger shot a -7 yesterday. He looked like he did 5 years ago. He hit every fairway and putted very well. Everyone else at the top of the leader board choked. Seems like that always happens when Tiger is near or at the top.

Which is typical. When they hear Tiger's footsteps, everyone stops to listen and he blows right by them
