Hey everyone. Just posting an announcement for N.A.S.A. (Natural Athlete Strength Association). There will be a national competition on October 17th, 2009. It will be held in the Morehead Convention Center, Morehead, KY.
State, National, and World records may be set at this meet.

All ages. There is a large variety of weight classes (14) and divisions (some related to age and/or competitive level).
For example, I compete in either 308 (wt class) pure or 308 Sub Masters Pure. Sub Masters is an age group (30 - 39). There is also teenage (13 - 19),
junior (13-23), and high school (current HS student)... among several others.

Well, the thing with powerlifting is that you don't have to be with a team. You compete as an individual against other people in your weight class and division. There are a few teams that come in, occassionally, but not very often. You can get a discount if you have 5+ who compete as a team. If you brought a team, and no one else did... your team would automatically win first (for the team). Then, each individual will be evaluated for 1st - 5th place, too.
