You all think the Cats will make it to the Final Four
#1
I think they are deep enough too. Especially if Morris clears. Kentucky will have 4 seven footers to throw around. ONly thing that worries me is the perimeter game.
#2
Heck why not, I put them as the champion on my bracket every year, so I think, absolutely they can make the final 4.

I do too. If they were a 15 seed I still would have them winning it all.

We were a no call away from the final four last year. I think this team has much more depth and those freshman have some good tourney experience.

Well I am a HUGE UK Basketball fan, so being a true fan, I say YES lol
#5
I bleed blue during round ball season and I think they have a great shot if Morris is cleared to play. If not they will have to change the way they approach the game but i think they can still get there. They still have the depth to wear most teams down and pull away from them. GO CATS
#6
i think that kentucky has a very good shot at a final four and possibly even national championship
#7
kentucky has a chance at a national championship every year!!
even if morris doesn't clear they will be better than last year
with the absense of azabukie crawford or ravi moss will step into the mix hopefully moss he brings more athleticism and heart and fire to the court than azabukie did he just wasn't an emotional player that we needed from a team leader he can also step out and bust some 3's and imo was the best defensive player besides rondo
and with the absense of the man chuck hayes we will be better on the inside i kno wit sounds wierd but let's face it chuck has no shot you have to have a forward that can step out and hit that 15 footer with bobby perry and sherray thomas we have more size in thomas which will help us out alot on the boards which we did struggle with at time versus quality opponents last year and sherray brings some fire and a jumper to the mix
and with 3 7 footers well that is all i am saying we better do somethin with em
and crawford is a great shooter

if rondo's shot developed like i think it did in international play watch out that is all he needs to be the best player in the country
their bench is the best in the country with crawford and bradley
and either sherray or perry

can anyone say 8!!

oops!! my bad tried to stop that irst post i wasn't finished
#10
I think they have the ability to make it there. National Championship is another thing. We'll have to see how solid they can play with each other.
#11
I think they have a great shot of making it

UK has as good as a shot of a final four and a National Title as any other team in the country. I'm telling you guys this is going to be a special season. Guard play has been huge in the NCAA tourney the past couple of years and IMO UK has the best backcourt in college basketball this season. Rondo, Sparks, Crawford(though he will start at the 3 will play a lot of two and is a SG), Moss, Smooth Bradley, and Adam Williams who I think can come off the bench and contribute....UK fans are going to fall in love with this kid and he is going to be a good player...he has some serious hops. That is five VERY good guards in our backcourt in Rondo, Bradley, Crawford, Sparks, and Moss. This group is going to be fun to watch and if the frontcourt players step up(Morris, Sims, Thomas, Perry, Shag, and Woo)then we have a GREAT chance to bring home #8 this year. I have been told that Tubby loves this team. We are deep and talented and have one of the best coaches in college basketball in Tubby Smith...If everything comes together and we catch a few breaks in the NCAA tourney we have a GREAT chance to hang our 8th National Championship banner in the Rupp Rafters next April.

C-A-T-S CATS CATS CATS!!! GO BIG BLUE!!

Yes by the way I am real fired up about this season as you can probably tell....lol

the williams kid is not as good as people think i watched him play his senior year in the fast lane classic at sc and sc's nathan moore humiliated him less than 10 points

He supposely improved a lot at IMG last year and Tubby is known for finding diamonds in the rough. Plus this kid Bleeds Blue and took one for the team last year and went to IMG so Morris could come to UK. He is very athletic and has a good basketball IQ. I am not saying he is going to be a NBA player but he will be a 4 year player at UK and will be a major contributor by the time he is a junior. I just dont think this kid is another Jash Carrier...he is a poor mans Jeff Shephard and the UK fanbase will fall in love with this kid. I also like the fact that he is a coaches son, so is 06 recruit Michael Porter, and the coaches sons just always know the game so good and do the little things that helps their team win and I believe that is what we will see out of Williams and Porter in a few years.

UK will do just fine this year. They'll play more up-tempo this year. Rondo will be a household name by mid December.
#16
Way to early to make the call for this !
#17
They should get to the sweet sixteen
#18
I do not think they make it to the Final Four, just not that good. I know anything can happen in the tournament, I just don't see it happening.

Elite 8 - Maybe
Sweet 16 - deinfintely.
#19
in my bracket they will but in my mind i know they will not
#20
I think they will. With experience from all the younger guys I look for UK to do big thinkgs this year
