Luke Walton
#1
Does anyone else think this guy is just in the league because of his dad?..i mean hes alright but i don't think he's good enough to be in the NBA..some people will think im stupid but lets here wat you think
#2
For every good play he has means that he'll have 3 bad ones. If the Lakers had another SF to give Ariza some minutes on the bench then Walton would probably never see the floor.

Thank God someone finally said it! I have said this ever since he has been in the NBA. He is horrible and has no right to get to play.

I don't see why he plays, he doesn't do much while he's in the game, just takes up space.

There is five guys on every team that are role players. Walton is a tremendous role player. It's hard for me to imagine of all place, Los Angelos, that Luke would be on the team because of his dad. His dad, and LA had disdain for each other that was well documented. Big Bill has been critical of Kobe and was a significant supporter of Shaq during the Shaq/Kobe squabbles, so I am hard pressed that the Lakers would keep Luke because of a dad that does not like the organization that his son plays for.

If I am not mistaken, didn't he have a good game last night?

I look at Luke, and I dont see much talent, not for the NBA, then you look at players such as Jamel Thomas, from Providence, Big East player of the year, that wasn't even drafted, thats just one of many that has been passed over that had more talent. Thats just my opinion, but S.D I know what you are saying, and I respect your opinion and enjoy reading all of your post....

Bill Walton played basketball at UCLA won three national player of the year awards, won 2 or3 NCAA, championship's, he played for John Wooden. In the NBA he played for the Portland Trailblazers, they won the title in 76 or 77, I think he was the MVP of the finals . They call him "The Big Red Head" he also is a commentator on TV he does NBA games.

I really can't believe they pay this guy to play basketball.
