Do you mean players from this year's graduation or younger players that will be leaving the program pror to graduation form Ashland?

I'm sorry I left out graduating 5 players. I think people post on here just to cause trouble. I can tell you this no players are leaving Ashland.

I agree that there are a lot of Ashland posers on this message board that always state that players at ashland are leaving but, of course, they never give details. I won't call anyone out on this, but those involved know who "Dunnette"

Skip you nailed it to the wall with that post. I think that some of the teams in the region hope players do leave Ashland. With all of the talent in the system from 6th grade up to the high school the next 5 or 6 years could be nice for the program.

I've been told by several sources that a certain kid from Rose Hill will be following her brother over to Ashland.

She would be crazy not to come over to the greatest sports tradition high school in Kentucky.

What grade is she in?

Ashland is the favorite to win their district, but you guys are making me laugh my gills off. It will be interesting to see who Bradley puts on the floor this year as his starting five. He should be able to dominate any unworthy 16th region opponent if he plays a high / low game with Hanners and Connor. Good luck to all the coaches both old and new.

I agree that to proclaim Ashland as next year's 16th region champion is definitely premature. IMO Ashland will be a top 3 team but East and Rowan will both have excellent chances to go to State. A lot of these team successes will be dtermined by how their young players develop.

The Ashlander's on this thread should worry more about their young guns leaving as opposed to Rose Hill.
Apparently not many people have heard what was discussed recently by the powers to be concerning the recent economic times in which we live. All students both new and current will recieve 42% off the current tuition rates this coming year. Rose Hill was one of 7 private schools in Kentucky to recieve government funding from the new administration, which was backing the old administrations policies on religious based organizations and schools. The funds allocated will be disbursed directly to slash tuition rates and increase teachers salaries. You can find all this wonderful information on this link:

In an unrelated story, all of the people at Rose Hill would like to thank the Tomcat Taxpayers for making our dream a reality. Without you faithfully paying your taxes none of this would be possible.
In closing, we the people, proclaim that the BAIL OUT package has arrived for all the disgruntled Kitten parents and players. See you come August.

We will embrace any kid that comes to the Maroon Nation. Her brother has made a nice adjustment and has continued to play well. I'm sure he is missed over at the "Hill".

There is more to our game than just high/low. We have many weapons on the floor at all times. You will soon see, speaking of opponent how is your team looking?

The young lady that you are so carelessly spreading rumours about is with me on pretty much a daily basis, and I don't beleive her parents would appreciate her being brought up on the 64th district Midnight Globe. You adults ? should stick to gouging each other and leave the kids from all schools alone. This forum is read by kids and adults alike. You can cause these kids problems at school by starting such rumours. Its funny that all this animosity seems to stem from the adults. I see Ashland and Rose Hill kids interacting and even helping each other out at Track meets. The same kids that play against each other in basketball. Its only High School after all.

My team has beat your team the last two years in the regional finals so I would say that we have faired pretty well. Ashland is the least of our worries. East and Raceland will be tough this coming year. By the way you should have tried that high/low game in the finals. Congrats!!!! on your new position!!!

Ashland wasn't in the finals last year. Rowan County beat Elliott County this year.

Ashland will win the district very easily next year. The other 3 schools are really going to be down and may only combine for about 18 wins.

Has anybody heard that they are looking for a new coach for the Fairview girls team?
