Coming into the 2008-2009 season, Scott County was everyone's pick to win the KHSAA Sweet 16. A loss to Lexington Catholic in the Region 11 championship game ended those hopes but Scott County returns several key players from this past season's team.

I'd say them and Holmes will rotate at the #1 spot this upcoming season. I don't see SC dominating the 11th region the way they did this past season.
