If Corey dont get to start at PCC they will be moving to some other county !!
03-27-2009, 03:47 PM
If he don't start then PCC can't coach. As for Dillon, he should already be in physical condition. I was told that he don't even like ball. He won't get to play anyway because Hatcher plays 6 players.

Sometimes people do what is best for them at the time! Some may not like the thought of him leaving, but I feel we have to respect his decision and hope the best for him!! I know I wish Cory the best of luck at whatever he chooses to do!! I know how it is to transfer, been there done that!! Remember he is only a kid trying to do his best!!

if he gets eligable then perry will be tough
05-01-2009, 02:45 PM
on hos 1st try he was ruled ineligible but has asked for an appeal

He is a good player and will help Perry if he gets eligible.

Corey was ruled ineligible on his first attempt, from what I was told Hazard is fighting this extremely hard and they absolutely do not want him playing for PCC next season. And everybody was talking bad about PCC fighting Back's eligibility? All Perry fought in that case was a recruiting violation, and Hazard could very possibly be looking at a violation after some recent developments, like a letter sent to Chris Noble promising him great things if he transferred?????

I would hope no one associated with Hazard would send a LETTER, that would be pure stupidity!! I Think Big Al, and his coaches and even the alum are way smarter than that. Not saying you are wrong just saying that would be very, very stupid!!!!!!!

I was told that Perry showed the letter at the hearing when HHS was forced to pay PCC the buyout from the game they cancelled earlier in the season, both schools were accusing the other of recruiting players, but Perry showed proof of Hazard recruiting, Hazard did not do the same.

How could Hazard recruit from PCC when JPA won't let anybody from the county go to the city schools? You would have to move into the city school district before you could even go to school at Hazard.

I don't know what you be smoking. I went to PCC and Hazard. If you play sports PCC let you do what you want Hazard don't. Way would someone transfer school knowing they will have to sit out a year.... This is going to be his SR year.....

I would argue that point. There are still some coaches, believe it or not, that do not believe in recruiting players that are enrolled at other schools. It is completley classless and unethical and I do believe that there are coaches that do not blatantly recruit players.

It was supposed to have the schools stamp and such at the top. From what everyone is telling me, if it was fake, then Perry did one **** of a job hoaxing it up.

It is all so far out of hand now, I really do know how KY will ever be able to correct and make it fair for all.......

They can't or, perhaps, won't do anything. Those schools that have the means will continue to openly recruit any kid that they want to and the schools that don't have the means or, more importantly, do have a sense of ethics will not. Ky. high school basketball would rival any high powered industry in the world in terms of corruption and the depths that some will sink to in order to gain an advantage.

Has anyone else heard this? Also, is he currently enrolled at PCC? I would guess that if his elgibility has come into question that he would return to Hazard, cause I would hate to see him not playing sports his Senior year!! Good luck Corey!!!
