Atomic Cafe in Lexington (a little pricey, but get the jerk chicken and sweet potato chips and it's worth it)

The lady that owned it filed for bankruptcy. She also owned a couple of other places in Prestonsburg like the Pawn Shop that also had to close down due to the money situation. But I agree, Red Light Diner was pretty good. I always liked their hotdogs and Chicken.

If your in the Phelps area you have to try Pauls Pizza for your pizza needs... BY FAR the best pizza I have ever eaten......

Hornets resturant has a variety of different things to choose from on their menu including a daily special.....

AND.... if your in the Elkhorn City area the Rusty Fork.... GREAT food!!!

The White Flash 1&2 in Jackson, best mini burgers you will ever eat in your life. Also Variety Pizza in Jackson-the best ham hoagies on the earth, and there pizza is great too.

The one and only time I ate at the Rusty Fork I got "violent diarrhea."

We were going to see the Southern Lights (or whatever those Christmas lights they do each year are called) and had to stop and use a park bathroom.

It's kind of funny now, but it wasn't at the time.

The Mustang Drive In is amazing! they have the best hamburgers with chilil ever. Home fries are great too, along with the hamburger steak dinner. I haven't eaten anything there that is not good. Hoberts in Prestonsburg is also one of my favorites. they have the best baked spaghetti you'll find anywhere.:Hungry:

Mona's Cafe and Out to Lunch coffeehouse in Pikeville are great. Dorsie's Dairy Bar is a must Midee. Chirico's for Italian in Pikeville, El Azul for Mexican, Peking for Chinese. Go to Billy Ray's in Prestonsburg. The Mustang at Millard if you are up that far. I'll give you directions if you are interested.

Peking is a must. I happen to like the one in town then the one below. Dorsies is a must! Jerrys is a fine one to. The JBOY plate and spaghetti are some of the best, oh and the cole slaw to.

I used to eat at Hoberts quite a bit until I found a cockroach baked into my pizza. Haven't eaten there since.
