 Man i do know in this computer age that information is always right at your fingertips..
But when the leslie county bigwigs and company got together and helped choose players for the annual addidad/Gatorade allstar games they done an admiral job except for snubbing the 13th regions top scorer namely Pineville's Chelsea smith which put her heart and soukl on the court everytime we seen her she scored 36 and 40 points against us respectively.
according to my computer she is ranked no 2 or 3 in the state and her free throw team stats which was not on khsaa statistics but on team stats ranks her easily in the top 10.
I understand why our team and many others good players got overlooked.
But one cannot argue pinevilles turnaround and her 754 points (half of the teams points) cannot be overlooked yes she is a aggresiveworkhorse of a player on a mediocre team but her percentage stats are better than courtney tyra for example which is a GREAT player in my humble opinion.
And she outscored both The very good Coleman sisters of middlesboro when we watched that game. .
Yes pineville is a small school in a town that if you blink when driving through you will miss it.. but we have to give them respect and there coach deserved coach of the year everybody which knows basketball should agree on that..Best record in school history. there district title. They get my Vote.
but mine doesnt count.
Ask the June buchanan players if this girl cant play!
us williamsburgs parents respect her plenty. Shes the real deal!
Shame on you so called experts and peers who did not allow this young lady the opportunity to play with other excellent players to showcase her skills!

Who is on this all star team? When and Where is it at?

Usually all-star games are for seniors only (since their eligibility is up). Smith is a sophomore.
