Nice looking team.

No way can the 54th beat the 53rd with the teams they have put together. If Brent[ leading rebounder in the state]Hall, they would be at Rupp this year. He was at KCC and some one put in against him Cox is better than Whitaker Hall is better than Maggard Stamper can shoot a 3 with ant of them. Banks is a good one to play with Hall and Collins is 6' 10"

Disagree.

I disagree also. No way is Hall better than Maggard, nor Cox so much better than Whitaker. Whitaker and Maggard took their teams a lot farther than the other two.

If 54th did an all district then we could talk but this would be my list.
Klay Maggard
Josh Whitaker
Justin Jones
Andy Blank (I mean he did get PoY even if Maggard did deserve it)
Chris Noble ( On a good night)
Rob Warren (Both him and Noble are pretty inconsistent)

So did Collins but he has played with Cox who knows how to get the ball into him Hall was the leading rebounder in the State. And he is better than Maggard any day. He juat got stuck at JBS. I'd like to see them play. They beat Hazard and PCC lasr summer. Hazard 4 out of 5 and PCC the only time thet played them.

Maggard-WYMT MVP, MVP of both District games, All Tournament Region.
A good player has to make his own plays sometimes. Hall is good and I won't take that away from him but Maggard is better imo. Which one do you think that colleges would want? Maggard.

53rd All-District.IMO

Both teams have a lot of talent on their teams but the 53rd's just seems like they fit better together than the 54th imo.

53rd All District.

Wait a second here, you forgot about the 55th district worst in the state baby lol j/k.
What about some bench players you have got to include them. JMO

I would take the 54th District talent over the 53rd District anyday. Remember the Road to Rupp runs through the 54th District.

You're out of your mind if you think the 53rd could easily beat the 54th. Just as it was a toss up when Perry Knott and Hazard played each other, it would be a toss up between the 53rd and 54th. And if you add a few bench players in the mix you might even have to give the edge to the 54th. Have you forgotten that the 14th region final was all 54th? That didn't happen by accident.
03-14-2009, 02:32 AM
53rd district because they would be deeper and more athletic.
03-14-2009, 03:00 AM
This would be a tough call. the 53rd might have the advantage since several of the players on different teams have played together.
