Big W for the Pirates. They definitely wanted this game badly tonight. They were clicking on all cylinders. Belfry will wrap up the district title next week with a win over Sheldon Clark.

I agree BP, I think that they have the district title here.
Awesome game by the Pirates. They played with alot of heart and alot of talent tonight. Everything ran smoothly.

The Blackcats had alot of personal fouls. Brandon Peters was unsportsmanlike tonight IMO.

Congratulations to the Belfry Pirates though, and best of luck on the district run next week.

WPRG-TV5 in Pikeville televiced the game. They will prolly replay it in the next couple days. Maybe you can get a tape from them...I want one myself.

WPRG will probably replay this game all week. I did not get it on tape but maybe a Belfry fan did...

I am playing AC/DC Welcome to the Jungle, Hells Bells, Back in Black and Thunderstruck...Those are some of the PA favorites at Prestonsburg staduim. I love AC/DC....The songs fit so well with football.

It may make people mad her but I have the right to express an opinon but I think that it was totally uncalled for. I know that a Belfry player got called for something to the sort tonight but BOTH teams should not have pushed after the plays and stuff.

Great game for the bucs and I have to say what a year that Maynard kid is having. He shows a lot of heart in his game. He deserves some attention, he seems to be the leader of this years Pirate team.

Yeah, Matt Maynard and Dustin May are the heart of this Belfry team. The entire team plays as a unit, like a fine tuned machine that looks to be gearing up for their third Title run.

Coach Haywood has done it again, he has taken a group of boys and made them into men. There was talk of a rebuilding year for Belfry....Well, I think all the talk has stopped...Because the Pirates are back again baby ....Wooooooooooo !!!

I am so proud of these guys, each week they just go in and take care of buisness. There's no time for celebrating, time to focus on the Cards of Sheldon Clark now. We're defending our crown and it's all buisness.....

Whatever it takes !!!!

Well im going to say that the Pirates are a great team, I knew that they had won when maynard got that tuchdown run. Well all i can say is tht we can look ahead to next week against Pike central. and i would like to NOTE that brandon Peters was embarrasing the Prestonsburg team and Coaches.

just want to say i was completely shocked by this score, i expected a much closer outcome. never the less i am very glad it came out the way it did. i dont know what pburgs problem is...they just dont have the athletes that they have had in the past i guess, but i wish them the best of luck the rest of the way....and on a side note it was great to meet all of the pburg crew from bgr at the game, it was nice to meet all of you guys, football05 we will have to huntin sometime buddy

No disrepect intended, but Maynard, Corey Chapman, Aaron Chapman, Justin Gooslin, and Tommy Ray Church are what makes this team go. Dustin May has a vital part, but on both sides of the ball the above mentioned guys are what makes it happen.

BTW.....Dustin is just a sophomore, and he is still learning defensively and you can tell it. Next year I expect to see him and a few others come along and really make a name for themselves (May is/will be a stud), but the leaders are the guys I just mentioned, IMO.
