Lexington Catholic 68 - Scott Co. 67 (11th Region Championship)
#1
Final.

Euton fouls LC's Taylor and he knocks down both free throws with .3 seconds remaining.

The LC press killed Scott County the entire game, but the Cards had a huge game from Guyn.

Congrats Knights!

Wow, Wow, Wow.

Did Phares being out hurt them this bad?

I would like to think Karma for making this victory possible.

JUST AWESOME!!!!

CONGRATS TO THE KNIGHTS!!!

Wow, can't believe this score. Sounds like it was a thriller. Phares injury had a little to do with this outcome IMO. It doesn't really matter, though.

Congrats to Lexington Catholic and good luck at Rupp!

Well this certainly sucks. I was hoping for another Scott County State Championship.
#11
So shocked.
I figured for sure that Scott Co. would be going to the Rupp!

But congrats LC!

I think it might have!! Don't know his stats, but I bet he averaged at least a double double!! So I am sure they missed that kind of production!! Hope he recovers soon and is able to get a chance at the next level!! Congrats to Lexington Catholic though, they are a great team that never quits and hustle's for 32 mins!! I am surprised a little, but not really, it is always so tough to win that 11th Region!!

His season averages were 19pts and 11rebounds per game. A big game changer when you take him out of the game although I honestly think LC was the better team of the two. Scott County was lucky to even be in this game after the fight Lafayette put up in the semis.
#19
Surprised yes, but shocked not at all, looks like it was a good one and it does sort of opens things up a little more doesn't it. Congrats to LC on a big win and I do mean big!!!!!

Transferring in somewhere doesn’t guarantee success.
#25
Congrats Lexington Catholic!

Looks like Scott County wasn't the world beaters some folks have made them out to be after all.

thumbsdown Wrote:Transferring in somewhere doesn’t guarantee success.

Since they had it planned that way.
It should, why else then transfer?
#27
I like how this game turned out. Looks like Euton made a little mistake..
#28
Congratulations LC on a big win when you needed it most.Yes, this does open things up a little bit !!
#29
WOW!
CONGRATS LEX CATH!!!

I did not expect this at all. Scott Co. was the IT team this year, like Mason was last year (I say IT for lack of a better term).

Hated to see either one WIN. Private vs semi-private.:flush:
