You wont have to worry about Belfry coming into the game cocky.....we're not like some other teams. We will take care of buisness and do what we have to do. Looks like some one is a little jealous of the success of the enemy program....

belfry dosen't always take care of bussiness, and neither do we, can't really say you take care of business unless your undefeated for the season and
your not as envyed as you'd like to think you are, i respect belfry, great program and everything, but im just as much more proud of ours!
and as far as success goes, were havin just as much if not more as you guys

Belfry will win by as many as they want. I'm gonna do the math here even though it means nothing. SC beats Prestonsburg by 1. Belfry beats Prestonsburg by 42. I'm gonna say Belfry by 41.

true, haven't won any state titles past ten years, but everytime we've went to state semi's, we've been beaten by teams that would stomp you almost every year
o and what quality wins have you had besides the state wins? NONE
no haven't beaten Belfry past 5 years, true, but all things come to an end, nothing last forever so enjoy it while you can

Well Panther this isn't my place to step in seeing me being from P-burg and all, but I think you have to consider all of Belfry's wins the last two years "quality wins" or else they wouldn't have 2 state title rings back-2-back. So apparently they were pretty high quality wins. The win over P-burg the last 2 years was quality cuz if they would have lost then Belfry was out of the playoffs. The win against Russell was quality cuz they would have been out of the playoffs if they lost. Every district win and playoff victory is a quality W or else Belfry would have been at the house the past 2 years watching some other team play. Just my input though.

hey i gave em' credit for the state wins! we had quality wins also last 2 years as u say,district,bowls, and region wins, belfry is a great program, and right now its their time to shine i suppose

Does this have to be another Pikeville vs. Belfry thread? I have watched these two teams play for many many years, as BP and HG have and the talent at each school goes in cycles plain and simple. If Belfry is not playing Pikeville I ALWAYS root for Belfry. Lets go Panthers and Pirates and lets bring 2 more region titles back home to Pike County. Pikeville can't beat Beechwood or NCC(and I seriously doubt that Belfry would either)but Belfry can beat the teams that stand in their way in AA to get to Louisville so come on Pirates lets bring another state title home to Pike County.
