David Jones reaches national spotlight!

David Jones, former Belfry Pirate is showing everyone how great he really is.
As of now he is is 13th in the country in kickoff returns with a 32-yard average. He is getting alot of playing time at corner. (4 solo tackles vs Florida)

I for one am so proud of David because he is getting his name out there and representing the mountains extremely well. I could not have picked a better rep. from this region. He is an amazing athlete and I look forward to seeing even more from him. One of my best friends is one of David's best friends and he is such a down to earth guy and he always keep his newspaper articles that she collects for him and everything. He is happy, we all are happy for him.

Yeah Jones is lookin to be one of few bright spots on uks team this year and he looked very good against florida and a time or two i thought he was gonna break a kickoff for a touchdown.

Yes, we are proud of him. David is a fine young man and he deserves every inch of spotlight that he is given and more. He will do great things at UK if they give him the chance. He really represents the mountains well.

congrats to david. ive been able to go watch him a few home games this season. hes one of the few bright spots on UKs team this year and i really do enjoy watching him. hes one of those guys you like to keep your eyes on. if he can stay away from injuries i look for him to open more eyes in the years to come and make some big plays for the Wildcats and maybe even help them win a few games. nice to see somebody from the mountains getting some spotlight. keep it up jones and good luck in the future!!!!

he is the best returner for UK and i think they should line him up at the WR position.

yea b/c he sure has the speed.....I think he is better off on Defense and kick returner tho quick as a cat on kick return and can make tackles on D...
