Memphis could be a number 1 seed this year, leaving Oklahoma with a 2.

Shouldn't be surprised. If you are good enough to pull off a last second victory against the greatest team in NCAA Basketball history, you jump all the way to the top even if you are a terrible team. It worked for Louisville after they got embarassed by Notre Dame, the voters had to keep them at the top because of their lucky win against UK!

I think they got credit for Griffin's health and I don't think I disagree with keeping them where they are at. With a healthy Griffin, Oklahoma is a beast, and there is no doubt that Griffin still needs more time to get completely healthy.

The Louisville win a few months ago was HISTORY, means nothing though - You have never been more RIGHT! So, since UofL won so long ago, it means nothing, UK is still the better team! :1:

It only means nothing when you don't have any.

Surely you wouldn't be implying Louisville has NO basketball history...

History means alot lil man. I mean what would be the point of playing if you couldn't reflect back upon your accomplishments. You don't just throw away your trophy after a championship an forget about it.
03-03-2009, 01:24 AM
Oh, it's a joke.
Just like Louisville being ranked that high when they won't even make it to the Elite 8.
