Betsy Lane has no where near the players and talent to match up against Shelby Valley. Especially the way they are playing right now. Plus Valley plays awesome at the Expo, look for a 30- 45 point victory. No way Betsy Lane can handle the pressure Elisha and Logan will put on them.

Poor BL is all I can say!! Don't quit before the game is played though because ANY team can be BEAT on ANY given night. Even if valley shows up to play, thye can still be beat, possible, just not likely. But, that is why we play the games instead of just saying here SV go on to state, no need to play. They still have to earn every game, not have it handed. It is good to see that BL has true fans not just "fair weather" fans

I was at the All-A state decked out in my Shelby Valley, when they won the All-A State Tourny. So don't give me that "Hater" bull!
Just because BL faithful don't pick Shelby Valley to win, doesn't mean a thing about who they hate. So Come! Get over yourself and the Wildcats! Let other people be for the team playing Valley! I gave in before the Elliott game and said that Elliott was going to win, I actually said that Elliott would win by over 10, if you can't say that Valley will beat Betsy Layne, you're nothing but a hater.

Let's cool it with the "hater" stuff. If someone wants to pick Betsy Layne, that's their right on here. I think it has almost zero chance of happening, but that's just my opinion.
A better word would be "homer". I think a lot of people on here are "homers" who pick with their heart and not their head. Which is fine. There are plenty of posters on here who do seem to really dislike SV, but let's not lump someone in with that label just because they pick against them.

Two years ago, eventual regional champ SV was taken to the wire by Betsy Layne in what was almost a stunning upset. Last year SV beat Prestonsburg in a game that was not nearly as close. Now, we get another SV/BL rematch.

I only called someone a hater because they said SV was overrated. I just thought that was odd coming from a Pike Central fan. I have no problem with someone picking BL, that's their opinion. I mean its a long shot, but I'm not against picking with my heart over my head.

Yeah, I think a lot of people on here do it every year with UK in the NCAA tournament.

I think Valley got the worst of the draw of the district winners however I think SV is 25+ points better than anyteam in the region so i say Valley by 25+. Betsy Layne has a good team with some good talent though.

If UK makes it, I'll probably use my head a little more than usual, but I'm sure my heart will tell me they will win a game or two even though they more than likely won't.

If you are asking if they can play with them, then yeah SV could put up a good showing, but beat Scott Co. now thats a different story. I dont think SV could beat Scott Co. But things could line up to where Scott Co. gets upset and SV could never face them at state, and SV may not even get past their first game. Then if they win it, they will possibly meet Elliot again and may get beat there.
But lets consider this, SV beat Elliot in the All "A" (yeah i know this thread has nothing to do with Elliot). But Elliot has came on strong and beat a couple of very good teams, Mason Co. and Ballard. And at the time when SV beat Elliot they was the number 1 team in the state. So anything is possible this SV team has played ball together for a long time. I think they are a very dangerous team come time for state.

Logan Bryant has been laying it all over the opposing team lately. I say him Ashley Hatfield and Elisha put together get 50+ I change my mind Valley by about 35+
