Bracket for the 15th Regional Tourament?

GIRLS BRACKET
1 â #1 Shelby Valley vs. Paintsville
2 â #1 Phelps vs. Allen Central
3 â #1 Betsy Layne vs. Pike Central
4 â # 1 Johnson Central vs. PLAY-IN WINNER

Thoughts and Predictions??

The Shelby Valley/Paintsville game should be a dandy in the first round, and should Sheldon Clark make it out of the play-in round, that would be a tough match-up against Johnson Central. I think the Lady Eagles got a favorable draw, and I look for them to be in the finals. As for the other team in the title game, it'll be either Valley or Phelps IMO.

I think ALL of them are going to be great matchups. Anything could happen during tournament time but I don't think that there is a clear winner in any of those games.

I'm loving the girls this year due to the fact that there is no clear winner.
Unlike the boys, SV pretty much has that in the bag. LOl.

Should be some GREAT games next weeeek!

There's never a clear winner until the championship game is over, but if you look at records, Johnson Central has to be one of if not the favorite. I know at this time of year you can throw records out the window because anything can happen, but they have to be doing something right to be 23-5.

That's what I said. There is NO clear winner in the girls tournament.
That's why I like the girls this year, because Shelby Valley pretty much has the boys locked up unless a miracle happens.

And about the record thing, that's really good. So if a certain team beats them, it would be a great upset I see.

Why do you think SV has a lock on it? I'm not really even questioning that part so much because they are the clear "favorite". Although that's not to say that they can't be beat; I've seen it before when there's been a team who is suppose to "have it locked up". But, I'm curious as to why you don't think that for the girls. Is it dislike for JC or just no respect for them?

Not at all. I respect every team. I just don't know why you're getting so offended that I think that the girls tournament is an open call for any team, INCLUDING JC. ALL the teams are playing their best ball right now, and ANYTHING could happen. End of discussion.

Hey, I wasn't offended, just questioning your thinking. Don't get your underwear twisted. Several teams are playing well right now, and it's your right to call it how you think it is. I just wondered why you could call it on the boys side and not the girls.

Like I said, SV should have the boys with no problem.
The girls, on the other hand, should be interesting to watch.

Yes, definitely interesting to watch. I hope all teams play to their potential and remain injury free.
