Congrats Hornets.

Belfry played very dirty tonight.
One girl pushed Pruitt really hard, they were kicking around.
It was pitiful.

But once again, CONGRATS HORNETS!!
You showed them what it's all about!!!!

I was at the game also and I saw two teams playing very hard and very physical.
The physicality of the game was not one sided by either team, IMO.

As a matter of fact, I believe it was a Phelps girl that was called for a technical foul for kicking a Belfry player.

I don't think she would kick for just the point of kicking her, trust me.
And that push on Pruitt was pitiful! Now that should have been a technical.
But i'm not going to complain, they got the win and need to focus on the Championship game.

That really surprises me that Merissa Pruitt would be the one that someone from Belfry got into it with...after all, Merissa did play ball with these girls from Belfry for a couple of years before transferring to Phelps last year. I thought she was friends with most of them.

I think this was a hard fought game . And Belfry will be back on top again in a couple of years.

They weren't really "friendly" out on the court. LOL.
The girls from Phelps got done what needed to be done.

I'm not one to bash on here, just telling it out it is.
So no hard feelings to anyone.

well Marissa didnt play ball with Hackney, and she had it coming to her. Pruitt whined and cried all night to the referees. she couldnt stand it that a freshman was keeping her out of the spotlight, and that she couldnt play her came because Hackney shut her down... Great Job Belfry, you made them work their butts off for that win and next year they'll be nobodys.. You see they have to get a Belfry player (Pruitt) just to get a win... this should say something... they couldnt do it on their own...

Maybe you need to be reminded that these are children that you are talking about and basketball is just a game-someone must win and someone must lose. Sometimes it is Phelps, sometimes it is Belfry. To make a statement that next year's Hornets will be nobodys makes me wonder what kind of person you are. Win or lose, they will ALWAYS be somebodys because they have the guts to play the game!!!! If everything was so wonderful at Belfry, then perhaps some of your pirates wouldn't sail away!!

Guess you missed the elbow from the Belfry player that preceded the kick after the Belfry girl knocked her down and nothing called
