I'm going to leave this open this week to get your thoughts on the region. If it goes we'll then it will remain open and next week the first post will be edited with the new rankings.

Thanks for your input and good luck to all.

Its funny how Boyd is picked to be the fav, when they only played one good team in their entire schedule so far and that is russell.
#4
I agree. Before Moore transferred from Lawrence County who was going to be their QB this year?
#5
oH WELL I guess only competition they will be seeing is when district rolls in.

Ashland, with the exception of Russell we are just blowing people out!
#11

#12
i ment to say they have helped out ashland lol.
#13
This week's is ready for input.
#14
I think ashland and JC will be movin on up with BC being beat at their own turf, and Ashland loosin by 1 point @ their home field to ironton. Tongueuke:

Yes but 1,2 and 3 didn't hurt themselves at all this week.

As much of an Ashland fan as I am, I wouldn't have a problem if we were rated even lower. We have probably more skill than any other team in the region but our line still needs work. They are pass blocking very well now but still need quite a bit of work run blocking. They just haven't closed out games yet. They've won 3 blowouts but lost 2 games on the very last play of the game. A drive stalled on the 1 against Russell and a field goal missed against Ironton. Until we can prove that we can close out and win close ball games, they shouldn't move up in the rankings barring a loss from a higher ranking team.

OK

We're UPDATED for the the week.

Looks good again. I like the fact that Ashland has an honest chance of playing all 4 teams who are ranked above them. The rest of the season will be very emotional with every game being very pivotal.
#26
I just couldn't drop Rockcastle with the way they played Bell at Bell and then when I saw the play that cost them the gain. Very questionable.
#27
good job CD :worthy:
#28
I was very surprised Johnson Central was left off the poll. They really look to be the region champs this year and it sure is about time. I hope this is their year to shine.
