This one should be interesting. Prestonsburg has the talent to play with the Patriots IMO.
The problem is that they have been so inconsistent. They beat go to Hi Hat and beat South Floyd by 46 and turn around and lose to Betsy Layne by 20 and scoring only 33 points in doing so.
Tate Cox should end up with around 30 points. I don't think there is anything that the Blackcats have that will stop his shooting ability. I think if Alex Stumbo, Jody Tackett, and the other guards can do a good job on Stuart Stamper, then they can keep the game close.
The matchup between "Buttermilk" and Steven Patrick should be interesting as strength meets athleticism.
If Prestonsburg is on their game they will lose by 5, if not it could get ugly fast.

I agree with Outdoorsman43 about Prestonsburg being inconsistent.
A lot just depends on which Prestonsburg team shows up. They've been playing better team ball and defense as of late, but shots wouldn't fall against Betsy Layne last night which led to a lop-sided score.
Could be an upset in the making if Prestonsburg plays to their potential, but if they struggle making open shots then I'll take Knott Central by 15+.

Prestonsburg's guards will have to not turn the ball over if they hope to keep this game close. I see KCC by 20+.

IMO the outcome of this game will be determined by how PBurg reacts to the physical play of Knott and how much the Refs will let the teams play. If it is a tight called game with two of Knott's players out ( the last I heard Ratliff and Mullins) Coach Amburgey might have to call upon his bench that is very young but have shown that they at times can play well. If this happens the Black Cats might pull off the upset. Good luck to both teams.
